Are comments disabled on product review hubs?

It is quite obvious that hubbers who make product review hubs aim at selling their products. Are comments on such hubs automatically disabled or do the hubbers (or do they have to) delete the comments capsule?

No, I have a few product reviews, they all have comments, not a lot of comments, but some.

You can keep comments open if you wish and it's wise to do so on product review hubs.

I kept the comments open on my product reviews. I wanted to get feed back from others too.

When I visited a few product review hubs, there were no comments at all, hence this question.  Thank you.

Comments usually come from hubbers at first and people don't usually read product review hubs smile

NO the comment capsule is not automatically disabled. Some people with review hubs do disable the comments section as it can draw people away from all the product links etc and as such may reduce the click through rate.

It is always a manual operation to disable comments. They don't want someone to come along and dispute their claims.

It is good to know that you have to disable the comments manually if you need to
