Does anyone here use wordpress?
How can I make the best of it?
Yes I use wordpress. Try read and comment on other blogs that care about the same stuff that you do. Link to other blogs the relate to your blog is another tip. Try can keep spam out. Good luck!
I'm not sure if you mean WordPress.com or are you talking about a self-hosted installation of Wordpress? I've used both, although I have more experience with self-hosted Wordpress.
Assuming you mean Wordpress.com, you'll get the most out of it and build a better audience if you treat it like a social networking platform. Think of it like Facebook with special capabilities. ;-)
Blogging in general is a community activity; the best bloggers know how to leverage the social part of writing and involve other people. It's taken me a long time to learn this, and I'm by no means an expert.
Follow other Wordpress blogs that have the same topic as yours. Leave comments on those blogs. Friend those bloggers on Facebook, Twitter, Hubpages, etc. Hang out in places at WordPress where people who are interested in whatever you write about also hang out.
Having a good experience on Wordpress is not that much different from the community building that takes place here on Hubpages. Network. The fact that it's all virtual rather than real life makes no difference - it's still a community.
Yeah I have several websites running on WP. The truth about WP is its robustness and user friendliness. I had tried other CMS before but I was not satisfied with the results. So I highly recommend WP. Hope this helps
I love to work with Wordpress and I enjoy using it. To build a blog is very simple today. I have created a blog on Wordpress and found an online tutorial that was very great for me. You may visit http://www.simplewebsitetutorials.com, here I got a useful information about Wordpress like creating a website, or a blog, how to use image library, and much more related to Wordpress.

I'm finally stepping out to change my blogs to wordpress. I have the domain names and have transferred the blogs to WP. I don't understand the migration process. I uploaded my 'blog migration' file to my website, but then I am lost. I am thinking about sticking with the...

Should I start a blog if I write on Hubpages? Is one better than the other? If yes, which blogging platform do you suggest? What are the benefits of blogging vs hubbing? How about blogging in addition to hubbing? I haven't had much time lately to hub as much as I initially planned, is it true that...

Hello all,I've been tweaking my Hubs because a Hubber gave me a suggestion and while I was tweaking all of my Hubs I noticed Chitika ads on many of my Hubs.Does anyone know when or if Hubpages will ever split the Chitika revenue with it's members?I noticed where Adsense ads are usually placed there...

I was just curious about how many of you all have blogs outside of hubpages and what the sites are? Do you make money from them like hubpages? Is hubpages where you do the majority of your writing or is hubpages secondary to something else?I'm trying to decide whether starting one would be...

So, quite recently some hubbers declared that they might venture out to create their independent, 100% 'all cash goes to the author's pocket' blogs using Blogger or WordPress. I just figured out, after checking some blogs on both those platforms, that they might face one little problem, it's...

Despite all that's gone on, I still consider HubPages my online home and the place where I'd prefer my content live. In fact, I've been extremely impressed and excited about the niche sites, and my traffic for Hubs moved over has looked really, really good. However, I still have concerns, namely...
