Does anyone have more than 1 blog and are you making money with them?

I have one blog now on blogger.com, and am using Google Adsense on it. I am toying with adding 2 more but don't know if the added blogs will bring in more money or just fragment my time. Anyone have any experience with multiple blogs?

I have toyed with it a it as well BUT even though AdSense lets you link the two---I don't find Blogger as user friendly. Its harder to connect with others--or at least that it my experience. I am a coupon/savings affiliate on my own website and most of those posts can't be used on Hubpages so that is the only reason that I have more than 1.....If it is blogger vs hubpages only, I honestly say its probably worth it to stick with one.

Thanks. I was going to stay with Hub Pages, keep my one blog, and add a few more.

I have niche blogs and websites and I do HubPages in addition.  I find they all make money for me, my personal sites make a lot more for me than HubPages, but that is because they are older, established sites with all original content etc.  I update them regularly and I have a following.  If you are just starting a brand new blog it is going to take awhile to get established.

I would suggest initially building up one or two sites/blogs and dedicating a lot of time to them.  Gradually you can add on more.  Trying to do too much at once is going to hurt the quality of your blogs and you won't earn as much.

I do run a couple of blogs on Blogger and WordPress in addition to HubPages but they are more exercises in continuing education (mine) than money makers. Also, as Christin says, the blogs are working toward building a following. Soon I must decide which blog to retire and focus on the one remaining which, most likely, will be my Blogger site. HubPages and two blogs is simply stretching too thinly for an old man.

It might be stretching too much for a middle aged woman as well Jim! Thanks for your answer.

I have to say, I only have 1 site that consistantly gets good Adsense clicks. BUT, it's still not enough to rely on just Adsense for income. I use to have more of these sites, but got rid of a few, because of performance. So I now focus more on selling digital products from my sites and creating articles on Squidoo and here at Hubpages.

Thanks Idea Gal. Good to know. I guess I will toy around with adding one at a time and see how it goes. I won't leave Hub Pages though. I love it here.

I have recently started blogging but do struggle for things to write about sometimes and am more likely to publish my writing on here instead. I hadn't thought of linking my adsense account, I started it more to help get traffic to my site

I have two blogs at blogger.com and write here at the hubpages, and no, I am not making any money on them to speak of. The pennies add up very slowly. I don't care though. I blog to tell people about Jesus. If He chooses to bless me by rewarding me in a monetary way I would be thankful, but I don't expect it to happen. His gift of salvation is free to believing hearts and that is enough reward for me.
