    Is there a safe and free program I can download to build a resume on?

    I see a lot of options but some look like scams. Do you know of one that is safe to download?

    Try LibreOffice for Windows, Mac, or Linux. This is a full featured text editor that compares to Microsoft Word. It is also completely free!

    You Can Do a Search using quotation marks "free resume building software"
    try several different search engines Google, Bing , Yahoo, DuckDuckGo. Some of the job websites offer free software. You can also check on YouTube

    You ou can user Google Docs, although you can't download the document. Google Docs has many of the same features as Word and supports the doc and docx file formats.

    You can also try IBM Lotus Symphony which is a complete office suite from IBM.

    you can make your resume online no need to download or break your head on editing just visite enter your details and then save it as you want and in any format... pdf, word etc.
