   As a Romney supporter, why do you think he lost?
   
   Many conservative outlets say the Mitt Romney was too moderate. What do you think the next GOP candidate should do to secure the extremist position and vote? Instead of banning gay marriage, maybe ban the gay lifestyle? Run on a 'Barefoot, pregnant, and in the kitchen' platform? Automatic assault weapons for every toddler? Please discuss.

   Perhaps it was a number of things that cost him the election....
   His incessant flip flopping on marriage equality and reproductive rights for example.
   Perhaps it was the fact that he made disparaging remarks about 47% of the electorate. 
   Possibly the "rapers" in his party (whether or not he supported their views on any given day) may have turned people off.
   Face it, he's a gazbillionaire who was a corporate raider.  He is out of touch with the "little people" and has an idealized view of the realities of the working poor and those who rely on government assistance in order to feed themselves and their families. 
   At any rate, no matter what the reasons were, the outcome is that the American voting public has voted against hate, bigotry, and intolerance.  They have voted in the person who not only lived with all of the above (and still does unfortunately), .and decided the nation needs a strong, firm but compassionate leader.  Barack Obama - the same gentle soul who authorized the killing of Osama Bin Laden....

   I think the racial tone of professed Republicans plus no real outreach to Hispanics and African Americans did a lot of damage.  This is not to say that Romney is a racist.  I was approached with the barefoot, pregnant, and in the kitchen comment which I think is totally ridiculous and doesn't lend itself to a discussion of the real issues.

      Sadly, that is one of the real issues. While flippant, the comments by Republican 'leaders' lend itself to that vein of thought. If any rape can be classified as legitimate or non, women are still denied the right to choose...it's a valid addition.

      I agree with dianetrotter - and I might add - seems like most of those answering are not Romney supporters. The 2 Republicans who mentioned rape were wrong no doubt - but why didn't anyone care about Mr. Biden and his reference to chains? Wrong too.

      I didn't like the way he changed his stance on a couple of important issues and others were similar to Obama's. He and Paul Ryan told separate reporters that explaining their numbers/plan would take too long. This was not proper and just bizarre.

   I think his attempts to pander to the female voter were pathetic. He knew he needed to woo women, he just didn't know how. I think if I had to name one thing, that's what cost him the election.

      According to analysts, the Hispanic and African American vote went to Obama.  The majority of the African Americans I communicate with cited racism.  Abortion/rape may have been the concern of Caucasians women.

   he a moderate and he kiss the tail of the far right who still live in Dixie.if he world have stay in the middle and ran he would have won. far right conservative still love the pass Dixie life that they just didn't see that the United State have change to Pleasantville..you people tick of everyone save  our hard core whites but every year more and more people see you people for the bull that you put out.last election your people try to elect a barefoot and pregnant daughter of a Vice President candidate and still put out this bull, it take 2/3 of the states to ban guns and you still put out this lie and what gay person ever did to keep you from living the life you want. the 47%. women personal decision,taking people land and call them immigrate when the boarder cross them. when you lie about other for gain you have to keep telling lie to cover until people see right though them and that has happen. may be it time for for 25% for democrat and 25%
   independent to save the republican party so the far right all go and join the tea party.

   These questions are comical...Romney lost because he did not motivate nearly 3 millions conservatives to vote for him that did vote for Mccain.  In terms of swing states, it was more than enough to put him over the top.  In terms of the rest of your questions.  Do a little homework and you may find out the following...
   
   Republican administrations have promoted more women to positions of prominence than Demorcratic ones while the current White House pays women less than Men.
   
   The term "assault weapon" is something that the media created to scare people that know nothing about firearms and firearms safety.  There is NO difference between a semi automatic hunting rifle/hand gun and a semi-automatic "assault rifle".  The only difference is the way they look optically. They are designed to look like a military weapon without the same capability.   You may also want to check the history books a little more than 50 years back.  One of the main reasons the US was not invaded by the Japanese after Pearl Harbor was because Yamamoto realized there were too many armed Americans with rifles and shotguns in their homes, which made it impossible to control such a population in a military occupation.  On the contrary the first piece of legislation passed by the Nazi's was to seize all firearms from the population so they had no way to defend themselves from the Gestapo.  This is historically almost always the first step taken by any regime seeking to impose typranny. How quickly people forget. 
   
   In terms of Gay marriage, most "extreme" conservatives groups support civil unions whiich offer all the same legal rights to Gays in terms of tax treatment, estate transition and asset titling etc.  Marriage is in reality a religious institution.

      So, in your argument, the fact that we can't sell women into marriage is totally against religious rights? BTW- assault rifle is fully automatic or capable of bursts. Do hunters need to kill in mass?

      Full Auto is illegal.  I own a Bushmaster AR-15 "Assault Rifle". formerly banned under brady bill.  It cannot do either of those.  I know of no conservative who supports selling women or anyone for that matter. Where do you guys get this stuff ???

      The Old Testament -can't pick and choose religious laws, now. Besides marriage was around before Christianity. NOT a religious institution. Also, some automatic weapons are legal. We find it via research into facts.

      There are many different forms faith. Not all observe the Old testament. Please cite your source and name one such weapon.  I have been a Gun owner for more than 2 decades and never been able to legally purchase fully auto firearm...Make and Model ??

      I'd guess the BATF is source enough? Older weapons made before 1986 can be purchased after a background check, application, and paying $200 tax. I don't know the models, perhaps ask the NRA or BATF?

      That is incorrect. Anyone with a clean record can purchase them if they follow state and federal regulations. Perhaps only some people in YOUR state can, but in others, civilians can.

       These video's are so upsurd with their edited comments.  Especially with their comments about the Fed.  I am extremely critical of the global central banks.  But transparency is hardly the real problem.  We already know were the Fed has gone wrong.

   Speaking as an outsider, as far as the United States is concerned, but as an interested outsider because what happens in your White House does affect the rest of the world's population.
   What percentage of the population in your country actually turned out and voted?  Have the figures been published?  Can you be sure that it's been a "democratically valid" vote?  Was the figure more, or less than, 50% of those who were eligible to vote?
   I suggest that to regard the results as "democratic" you would need to have a very fair proportion of the population actually taking part. 
   Maybe a bigger question for us onlookers is to decide whether your country is in fact a Democracy, or a Plutocracy, i.e., the person who gets into the White House is there by virtue of his/her monetary wealth.
   Which version of politics do you/we see as ideal?
   I am only offering these points for discussion, not making a judgment, or trying to be insulting.  As I said above, these matters are important for us all.

   He couldn't run against Obamacare / the Affordable Care Act, which many Republicans hated, because he passed something similar as governor. He wouldn't stand on issues that were burning with his base like open borders, corruption in the Obama administration like the Fast and Furious gunrunning by ATF or constant contradictions.
   He played nice in the face of a corrupt and hypocritical regime, and he lost his own base in the process.
