Do you think that Hostess closing is just another Union busting method?
The evening news only gives some of the management's side of the contract dispute. They never explain the Union workers reason for going on strike. As a member of the Teamsters, I can tell you that no Union strikes just for the heck of it. So there's a very good reason behind what is happening. Most likely it's just upper management trying to fatten up their wallets, which has become a big problem here in the good old USA.
True , yet in todays world unions are just too big and powerful, re-negotiating contracts constantly and excessively , choking the profits out of a borderline profitable business. Yes , as well to corporate controls, monopolizing and domineering of employees.and of the economy . Its two fold for blame ,everyone wants more more more ...........

It's very typical of vulture capitalists to do things like this...
Yes, I agree...those at the top control the finances and those on the bottom are their legs whom they think aren't in important. As said in the other to comments, it is the way of big business who disregard the so called, "common people".
I tend to agree here. It is a shame the people lost in this deal.

Did you know Twinkies are coming back on July 15th?When they took Twinkies off the market, was that just a way to control people who were on strike? They took jobs away, people sold Twinkies on sites like Ebay, even wrote hubs about them. Now Twinkies are back. What is more...

If the point of putting a poll in a hub is to engage with the visitor and get them to engage with your hub, what is the point of closing a poll so that there can be no more voting?
