Is Hubpages going back to its golden days?

Of late, hubbers have been reporting increase in traffic which has generated excitement on Hubpages. There is a time Hubpages was ranked top 50 among the most visited websites, do you think Hubpages is headed back to its old golden days?

There is still a lot of garbage coming out if hubpages. I don't know if the search engines are going to like that.

Ikepius is right. There is a LOT of garbage on Hubpages, and because there are few restrictions on what can be written, we see hubs that are an embarrassment.

Yes ikepius and rfmoran, i do agree HP has lot of these terrible write-ups. Personally i have encountered a few and although that is why hub flagging is there, i think HP should be doing a lot more of house cleaning before a hub is published.

My views have not gone back up.  They were cut back to nothing when the change happened and have not recovered.  I was getting lots of views on a few of my hubs everyday where now its almost 0.

Well I do not know who has had an increase in traffic but ut sure as hell was not me.

I think Hub Pages policies favour Anodyne Garbage rather than serious stuff that might upset  some people.  I suspect most of  this is stuff Google can spot.
