How is a link to one's hub added to an Answer?
I have seen links in some Answers to the writer's hub. It says, 'Read More' or so. Would someone kindly tell me how such a link is added to one's Answers? Probably obvious but I haven't seen it yet.... Thanks.
If you answer the question as a hub, it's linked as a hub. When you answer a question, there's an option to 'make a hub about it', which takes you to the hub creation tool. When you finish the hub and publish, it's published on the question as a link to the hub.
Thanks. I understand the 2nd part, but what does it mean to 'answer the question as a hub'? Is there a way to link to one's existing hub when answering a question other than adding the url?
No, there's no other way. You'd have to add the URL.
If you paste the address of your Hub into the answer, it will automatically appear as a link.
'Answer the question as a Hub' will take you to the page where you start creating a new Hub. Effectively you are writing a Hub rather than an answer, but by starting it as an answer, you will get an automatic link and summary showing as an answer to the question.
You will only see the link with 'Read more' if the Hub is started in the answers section, not if it is a pre-existing Hub.
Thanks Gina145 and all for answering. I tested it out and have a better understanding now.

So, I understand that the question-answer section is to inspire hubs, BUT it feels a little disingenuous to use the information everyone provided, especially when that information would fit nicely in a list. I asked a question about recipes and received lots of great replies. How do I make a...

I have been on HubPages only for two months. I did not think that "Asking & Answering Questions" was a complicated matter. But I have come across a question that if you ask a question and then answer it with your own hub, it is "faking it". My understanding was...

Hi everyone,I'm just starting out in the wonderful world of Hubpages questions and answers. I've had a look through the help centre and only found a little info....basically that Q&A's are meant to be a very mini hub type thing, where you can earn the 60% for all views on your Question and...

What the heck is the point of Q&A? I don't mean that sarcastically. I am really trying to figure it out. I can't formulate a strategy for properly using this feature unless I can understand the intent behind it.First the Q&A questions/answers were on their own pages with their own urls. It...

I have several articles written under another hub name. They focus on the same topics, just different issues that are all related. They get some traffic and the comments I get are pretty good. People ask me what they should do for advice or encouragement. I use motivation to help...
