    Can dogs eat radishes?

Probably, My dog, when I'm dishing up the chiken vindaloo, says, 'ah chiken vindaloo then, bung a bit in my bowl.'  Ok, not radishes but if he can eat that I would put money on him being able to eat radishes.  Not like Lucy the cat, she sits there, licks her paw and says, 'oh no, I don't care for that.'

I know that dogs can't eat onions or chocolate, but I was wondering about radishes. Why? I dropped one on the floor and the dog swooped it up and downed it in seconds.

All of my dogs have eaten onions and chocolate with gusto, and never shown any ill effects and lived to ripe old ages.

Radishes contain a compound called isothiocyanate, but in small amounts, and although I do not know of any studies that have been done on this vegetable, I think it is less toxic than broccoli. Broccoli would require a dog to eat at least 10% of his body weight, which is most unlikely, and with radishes it would require even more.
I do not know how much your dog weighs but one radish is not a problem. For that matter neither is one piece of onion or one hersheys kiss. Everything is dose related.

Thanks DrMark1961. I'm relieved to know I'm not causing my dog harm.

I'm sure they can but I don't think they are good for dogs. I think bananas are good for dogs.

I've heard you can give them a piece of a banana on occasion, but not frequently. I do know that you can give a dog apple pieces, but you cannot feed a dog the core or seeds of the apple.
