   What is the best way to get followers on Hubpages?
   
   I follow hubbers if I enjoy their material but with so many hubbers out there how to I encourage people to follow me? I try to write quality material that is fun to read, participate a little in forums and ask/answer questions. Is it a case of following lots of people to get return followers back?

   Yes, writing comments on the hubs of others is one of the fastest ways to get more traffic. If you are writing original, quality informative hubs without grammar and spelling mistakes. But your comments also have to be original and interesting and apply to the content of the hub. 'Great hub,' is not enough. For more detailed information, see my hub: 'Comments and Traffic.'

   The best way to get followers on HubPages is to fully participate in as many activities as you can. Do all those things that the learning center encourages and more and you should start to see more followers!!
   Your comments should be several lines long and contain decent material, as pointed out by a previous answerer. This will encourage the author to sit up and take note and eventually they may decide to follow you out of interest, perhaps after studying your profile and a few of your hubs.
   I've gained some followers from this answer section and enjoyed participating in some forums. You have to sustain your activity, persist, and in the end you'll get people following you.

   Viewing articles, commenting on them etc. In simple you should be a active hubber, publishing good articles & answering ques. People will automatically follow you.

      Don't worry about the Score.  It is an outdated Scoring system & not of any use. You should be aiming at earning good views & accolades.

   Commenting on other people's hubs and answering their questions can definitely help. The more you participate in the hubpages community, the more followers you are likely to receive.
