If I wanted to make a short story would anybody read it

I'm alright at it but I'm having trouble thinking of things to put up. Short narratives are a good place for me, but what would people want it to be about?

Of course. It will all depend on your creativity and attention to detail. You may gain more audience by posting a link to your story in social pages like Facebook and twitter. Be sure to spicing it up with pictures and video content. Best of luck with your short story.

Find and use writer's prompts if you need help on what to write.  Writer's Digest has a whole archive of them.

If it's good, people will want to read it.

After writing hubs for a few months, I have found that most topics and articles are read by at least a few people. The trick is to be patient. At first, you are all excited about publishing a hub. More times than not, your hubs will languish and you will see very few hits. Also, take some time to read other hubs, answer a few questions and generally be active in the hubpage community. I try to visit my hubpage every day and read at least two hubs, leave a comment or two and answer a question or two.

Naturally, certain hubs get more attention but short story hubs are fun to write. As a writer you get to be creative, funny, dramatic, soulful or whatever you want.

I wrote a story about how I became "chef mancave". Performance-wise, it has been a dud but if you were to ask me, it is one of my favorite articles that I have ever posted.

I have had an idea chewing around in the back of my dusty ol brain for a few weeks about creating the never-ending story. Send me an email if you are interested.
