    Shaun of the Dead.

Yes, it's a comedy.  But it's a classic.  Some zombie movies I can only watch a couple times.  Shaun of the Dead I can watch over and over.

Im a big fan of 28 Days Later starring Cillian Murphy, made in 2002.  Murphy's character wakes up from a coma in a hospital to find London basically empty, he meets a few survivors and finds out that the RAGE virus has turned a bunch of people into blood thirsty zombies.  It's actually kind of believable lol.  It was film very well with some awesome shots and the actors do a great job.  If you want a well made and scary zombie movie I would go with 28 Days Later. However the sequel 28 Weeks Later isn't that great and doesn't involve any of the characters from the first film.

The original Night of the Living Dead, very scary but understated and little gore. I love the scary aspect of zombie movies but hate the real gory flesh-eating scenes. They don't enhance it for me.

I didn't expect to, but I actually really liked Zombieland. It had good actors and a good combination of humor and action. Plus Bill Murray as himself was perfect.

I agree with BWD316 also, although I actually liked 28 Weeks better. I loved the music in Weeks, it really sets the mood, and also the fact that the Rage Virus seems somewhat plausible.

I will probably be bludgeoned to death by the younger generation but I still feel the original Night Of The Living Dead captures the zombie perfectly.

I agree that Zombieland is funny and in fact the rules they give you in that movie is very clever on how to survive a real zombie outbreak.

I like Dawn of the Dead due to the fact it is near to what I imagine zombie would be like.

Zombies vs strippers it's just completely hilarious, but on a more serious note I really like The Dead. That zombie movie that takes place in Africa.

I liked Zombieland up to a point. And, that point being where they end up at the amusement park, and everything turns on automatically. Really? nothing like a big shiny beacon that says Brains here! But, it was a fun movie. And, the acting was pretty decent.

I saw both the original night of the living dead, and the remake, and I liked the remake better. The acting was a lot better for one, and it was a lot creepier than the original. But, when I had cable it was on so often I got tired of seeing it.

I saw one movie a long time ago, where someone actually had zombies living in a pit, and, they would throw people they wanted to kill into the pit, and they would become a zombie. I was a kid, when I saw it. Kind of reminded me of the Island of Doctor Monroe. But, can't remember the reason for this one man, wanting to turn people into zombies. It wasn't scary, and there was no gore. It was just weird.

I wonder if It could have been The Mask. This was a movie where you had this booming voice, going "Put The Mask On Now!" and it was kind of in 3D. Not sure though, that was a really strange movie.
