I am not a Democrat. I have met Bill Clinton years before he was President when he spoke at my sister's Graduation at Flippin Arkansas in the early 80's. But watching her as First Lady while her husband "played" at being the POTUS, and in the years since then in her continuing role in Government, I must say she has impressed me. Smart, intense, works very well with with other country's diplomats, well respected by many, I believe she has a chance to become the first Woman President. And as she already knows the workings within the office, I think she could do well.

Well judging by what the electorate has been electing as president lately she qualifies. She has proven she is not afraid to blatantly lie to the public (vast right wing conspiracy, dodging bullets in a combat zone), Although in 2008 she was beaten by a nobody from nowhere who had made only one speech anyone had ever heard of she ran for president as a sure thing and LOST. She's also said that she doesn't want to run. The Middle East has gone up in flames on her watch. And she has proclaimed that it doesn't matter why or how our ambassador and three patriots were abandoned to die on her watch, as the state department watched on video feed, first time since 1979 that an American ambassador had died in a violent assault. And she is a woman! Given the fact that any democrat who has a similiar background of lies and screw ups is usually promoted to a position of power in that party (head of DNC caught lying about lying) I think there is no question the Democrats and this electorate will swoon over her - I mean who else could be more qualified and there are those independents who would like nothing more than to have Bill back in the Oval Office, even if only as first lady.

Exactly! She fits in with the current administration and would be a continuation of this nightmare.

What I think is likely to happen is that there will be a primary and that Hilary will be in it along with Joe Biden.  I don't really know who else would jump in.  I really don't think Biden would have a chance against Hilary.

There is a second scenario that is unlikely.  Obama could run for a third term if the constitution was amended to allow it.

As for the general election, I really believe if the republicans nominate a true fiscal conservative/social moderate with balls (male or female) and the ability to communicate the conservative fiscal position, they could win against anyone, even Hilary.  Having said that, yes, Hilary will be the next President.

If she really want's the job she will be a formidable candidate and most likely would win a general election. It remains to be seen if she can win the "nomination" of the Democratic party though. I think she has more enemies within the party than without.

I sure hope not. The media seems to be glazing over all of her major faults and sugar coating her character. They are trying to ram her down our throats already.

Four years is a long time, but Hilary Clinton is an energetic woman, and I would not count her out.  She has already made history by being a former First Lady who went on to run for President and then become Secretary of State under her opponent.  If she wants the job, there is a high likelihood that she will get it!

You have Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and Michelle Obama going to run unless the 22nd amendment is going to be repealed, in which case it will only be Barack Obama running for the democrats.
