Could anyone tell me what CPM means in the Ad Program Earnings?

    Could anyone tell me what CPM means in the Ad Program Earnings?

    I am little confused. I don't know how to read the Earnings program, in particular I would like to know what CPM stands for. Can anyone help please? Many thanks

    What does CPM mean?


    One of the online advertising payment models. The acronym means "cost per mille," and advertisers pay for every 1000 impressions of their advertisement. This is a dynamic number based on what advertisers are willing to pay to show their advertisement on a specific page at any given time.

    Costs-Per-1000 iMpressions.
    CPM stands for "cost per 1000 impressions." Advertisers running CPM ads set their desired price per 1000 ads served and pay each time their ad appears.

    As a publisher, you'll earn revenue each time a CPM ad is served to your page and viewed by a user. CPM ads compete against cost per click (CPC) ads in our ad auction, and we'll display whichever ad is expected to earn more revenue for you.
