Is Christianity's offer of eternal life and personal salvation et cetera simply a bribe?

Does Christianity prey on human greed to find converts? Instead of offering a glorious and ineffable reward in heaven, why not preach kindness for it's own sake? Make a case for or against the notion that Christianity bribes people to subscribe to it's doctrines.

Probably more like coercion, as a method of control.

No, because no one can make that decision of accepting Jesus Christ as your savior than you. People can preach to you and talk to you about salvation, but it ultimately boils down to a PERSONAL relationship with Jesus Christ.

Because a lot of churches and people professing to be Christian sell it that way, yes it is TO THEM.  Churchy people may promote it but it is false.  These that do this are mostly church members but not Christians
And then you have all the liberals that support so much foolishness and false doctrine and expect God to do what they believe even if the scriptures do not support their beliefs.

BUT IN TRUTH THAT IS ABSOLUTELY FALSE
And that certainly is the wrong way to introduce Christianity.
The answer lies in reading and UNDERSTANDING the scriptures for yourself so you really know what He stands for and against..  So you become a REAL and SCRIPTURAL CHRISTIAN.     If one reads and understands the bible correctly, you could never come to the conclusion it is a bribe    The great God that prepared the awesome earth for us and then made us and gave it to us, we who are made so wonderfully complex yet simple we are so fortunate that He loves us..
And because our ancestors broke His only 1  (only one) rule and caused us to lose fellowship with Him, how can we read the bible and not have the desire to regain fellowship with this great and wonderful Person.   If we promote Christianity in the proper context and do not stand for what is not scriptural, and live our life like Christ we can make converts easily, but to sell the fire insurance like many do, to an intelligent person is not only a disservice to the Lord but also to the person.
If you choose to follow Christ and be His friend and follow Him the world is a different place.  But you have to believe in faith, based on scripture, not on peoples words or feeling to experience that great new world what is waiting for you.   I choose to fellowship with Him Now, and if I maintain this relationship til the end I can be in fellowship with Him forever. wow
