Does anyone have a suggestion on what to mix with pecan flavored rum?

    Does anyone have a suggestion on what to mix with pecan flavored rum?

    I purchased a bottle of pecan rum at a local shop, but I have no idea what would be good to mix with it.

    I used to tend bar and we would make up drinks all of the time. This pecan rum you have sounds like it needs to be with something creamy like Baileys Irish Cream. It really doesn't sound like something you'd want to mix with a tropical mixer.

    Apple crisp... we put chopped pecans in ours and the sauce I make with it calls for rum.  We like using Southern Comfort instead, but maybe you could use this instead and perhaps omit the pecans? I suggest anything with apples personally :-)
