   Go into my craft room, put on a favorite DVD like I Love Lucy or Star Trek and mess with crafts...

      I love all kinds of crafts and painting. When you're involved in something creative it's hard to let in any chaos from the outside world.

   I guess my main technique is to get away from all-things-electronic and all-things-artificial (like indoor lighting) and get out in the fresh air and natural light.

   I would sit back or just you know in a corner with my ipod on singing at highest volume if I am alone or watch movies.

   I have a recording studio in my house and I play guitar , drums, keyboards, and mix them all together and make MP3s. I have sold a few and enjoy the stress relief this induces upon myself. I will write also , usually on Hub Pages. The reason is I can be myself, and enjoy what I write, and what I want to write about.When I first started writing my grammar was horrible, so I have a lot of articles I go over and spruce up. I make a little bit of money off this , but not like the big guys, or ladies on here do.

      I too have a recording studio in my house, but I don't make music, I do voice acting. It's great fun and relaxing at the same time.
      It's cool that you can play three instruments. Sounds like you have fun being creative.

   Yoga to get ready in the mornings. It helps wake me up and think positively. To shed some stress from work, taking a bike ride helps. But the best is the weekly pamper. One night a week, Sunday, I take a long bath, treat my hair with a heavy conditioner, face mask, paint nails, hand lotions, moisturizer on legs, tan lotion, all while watching a chick flick. Then ready for the next work week.

      It would be fun to go to a girls' weekend pampering party. Hey maybe I should have one. It sounds like you've made time to do these things on a regular basis. I need  to indulge more often.

   I listen to a relaxing tape on my IPhone or meditate about an imaginary trip to Hawaii or a cottage in the hills. I picture what I see , hear, smell and touch while doing deep breathing   I imagine the aroma of lavender vanilla.
