Why when I choose to hide a specific hub it keeps showing up?
I have hidden a certain hub three times now and it is hidden until I refresh my feed page. Isn't it supposed to be hidden until you choose to unhide it?
Lady Guinevere, I didn't realize there is a "hide" function. I was searching for it after you mentioned but I still cannot find it. But if you unpublish it, I believe it will be hidden.
I wonder why you want to hide it. If it is not a featured hub, I guess it makes no difference whether you hide or unpublish it because HubPages blocks all unfeatured hubs from the Google search engine. Rather than hiding it, why not upgrade it to a feature hub by tweaking the article? Which hub is it? Let me see if there's anything I can help.
Not my hub. I unfollowed it and yes there is a hide on the right of the hub in the feed just like on FaceBook.
I was not aware of a "hide" feature. I am aware of an "un publish" mode where it is not visable as a hub, however it still exists as a title in search engines and any other place it sprouted (pinned, liked FB, tweeted). While it may appear in those areas and on google when searched, the page link should come up blank.
I am not clear on your question, so I will sit back and read others.
I think this may be the same hub I keep trying to hide. I've done the same thing - I've unfollowed it, and hidden it about four times - unfortunately, it always appears on my phone when I look there.
I think if it's in a topic you follow, even if you don't follow the hub itself, it may pop up. I had a similar problem with one from a hubber who had trolled one of my hubs, then wrote a series of hubs that re-iterated his answer (the one he had provided on my own hub when trolling) - because it was in a subject I follow (which, unfortunately so is the one I think we are trying to sort!) - it disappeared when no one replied, and when he got banned!
Perhaps asking in the Forums - technical ones maybe, and HP staff may be able to help. I'll try a few things and see if that changes anything. Good luck!

I am having a problem with 2 hubs that won't publish/feature despite having a decent score (ex. 74). An email comes that says "Hub not cleared for publication because it didn't pass the quality assessment process" , however, it does not say specifically what TO do to get it to pass. I...

I had six hubs showing broken links yesterday. I corrected all of them, but two are still showing the broken link icon. And, the edit date hasn't updated. Anyone else seeing this?

I posted a new Hub this morning which included an Amazon capsule with 8 or 9 related items in it. However when I went back to look it over after publishing, the Amazon capsule was not showing up, there's just a blank space where it should be.When I went into "edit" mode I can see the...

Normally, I approve 99% of all comments left on my hubs. But twice today, and once yesterday, there were comments left, all by "anonymous," that I simply denied because they were just way out of line. Not demeaning, offensive, hateful, or anything like that...just WAY off topic.In...

I posted a comment on another Hubber's hub 2 days ago, and just now, when I checked my Hubtivity, right at the top was the notification I had posted a comment on that hub 71 minutes ago. I knew I hadn't, so went back to the person's hub, and saw my original comment showing as 2 days ago, but the...
