Again this is kind of conundrum which no one could ever solve, see this is variable in nature some couple do both spend and save at the same time they can stay married ,other scenario both the couple don't spend much or save much but they can;t stay married as marriage has no definite algorithm to follow ,you and your partner evolve with time ,try to know each other like dislike,if every thing is sorted then you stay married or else break up happens..so it depends whom you are dealing with remember when you are dealing with human you are not dealing with creature of logic but creature of emotions..

no, it doesn't. It is who a person is and how they feel about themselves. I have met millionaires who are very miserable.

There are a lot of miserable people who (stay) in "unhappy marriages". Some people have no "deal breakers". I don't get it but I know these people exist!

    The short answer is YES!
We have people (staying) in physically abusive marriages, rampant infidelity, with drug addicts, alcoholics and the list goes on and on.
Each of us is entitled to have our own "deal breakers" and some people choose not to have any! They won't divorce their spouse under (any) circumstances. Therefore it is likely there are lots of "spenders/savers" marriages. Oftentimes people hope their mate will change overtime. In other instances people find secret ways to deal with such issues. A saver may create some "secret accounts" the spender knows nothing about. I wrote a hub about this quite awhile back. http://dashingscorpio.hubpages.com/hub/ … nkaccounts

Absolutely! ANY man and woman can stay married. Love is a matter of choice. That's not to say many agonizing struggles will not come, but you do have the ability to stay married.

As to the spending and saving, that is an issue best discussed and agreed upon BEFORE marriage. If it has been left until after you are married, then sit down and talk through the issue. Heart-to-heart conversations should be the norm for married couples. Discuss the advantages of a conservative financial strategy versus uncontrolled spending. Also, talking as a couple with a trusted, financially successful friend could help clear things up.

But by all means, stay together. Stick it out and be faithful and loving.
