What are your five most favorite websites and why are they?
I just researched an article on CNN's website and went to print it. Their print function is OUT OF SIGHT, OFF the HOOK, DOWNTOWN! There was an overlay, complete with arrows to the print screen that pointed out all the buttons you could click to adjust the article to print. When you click on a picture, you can easily delete it to save on your printing. It was then that the above question came to my mind.
I do love istockphoto because I can quickly find an image that I can license for hubpages. I like sitepal to create avatars and jibjab to make cute cards for my friends. And you?
Wikipedia for the useless trivia
IMDb ....see above
Blabbermouth.net to keep up with news in the hard rock/metal world
The Onion because it never fails to make me laugh
...and of course HubPages!!
I'll have to visit Blabbermouth since my husband's son is a metal guitarist who can really shred and works for a recording studio here in LA. Great choices to check out.
If your husband's son is involved with the Metal scene then I'm sure he knows all about Blabbermouth already. It's the CNN of the hard rock scene.
Yeah, for sure. Steve is involved in all that PLUS being totally also immersed in studying all kinds of alternative energy. (Maybe that all goes hand in hand). He has credit on the new Def Tones album (assistant engineer) - so proud of him.
Didyouknowgaming.com because I get a new peice of gaming trivia every day (for instance, did you know that according to a Rare employee, when microsoft bought Rareware, they mistakenly thought they owned the donkey kong franchise)
screwattack.com because they have some nice gaming news, and other things that tickle my fancy.
youtube...well, who doesn't watch an occasional youtube video now and then? I watch plenty of (you guessed it) video game related things
Hubpages here because i enjoy my blog. I could go into detail with this one, but I won't.
and...I don't think i have any other that I really offer an opinion on.
Hubpages - I'm now an addict. Facebook - To keep in touch with good friends. Pinterest - Love most of their DIY ideas! My universities website - Always important and interesting. Psychology Today magazine - Love reading up on what they have!
Wikipedia has been a favorite of mine for some time.
HubPages is quickly becoming a close second.
Others would be online movie forums i frequent like RottenTomatoes, or IMDb.
Thanks so much Thief12! I'm amazed at the diversity of answers to this question !
Well it's an easy to answer because every one have it's own favorite list and also it depends what type of website you looking for, well in my list i have few of them
godaddy.com-if you are looking for domain name
host gator-if you are looking for hosting services
Craigslist-for services
Amazon,e bay and tiptop electronics for online shopping
and of course Hub pages who can forget this one.
tiptopelectronics, I had been with web.com for years for hosting my site, but now switched to godaddy because the templates n tech service there are great I also buy domain names there. Hmmm...host gator - never heard of that one. Thanks !
Hi Billie
It strange that you never herd the name of host gator, well godaddy is also a great name on providing domain and hosting services but when i look for hosting service http://www.hostgator.com/ is one of the best i found .

Here is a question for experts. I am curious how a hub is tracked over time?In specific, suppose I create a new hub or article and it is featured after published on HubPages. After a few days, when the google bot finds it and index it, it appears on google search with some page ranking. After a...

SOPA and PIPA are two proposed laws that will enable copyright holders to accuse websites which hosts pirated content. Wikipedia, in protest, will blackout English Wikipedia for 24 hours. Should Internet be free and open worldwide?

For websites, this seems to favour the address of a website at the end and the name of the article in italics at the start of the citation (if no authors are mentioned). However Hubpages don't like raw URLs, so I'm wondering what we should do?
