Have you ever know a married couple that knew each since preschool or grade school?
I've met quite a few married couples that were high school sweethearts. I am just wondering if anyone has met any married couples (or yourself) that were sweethearts going back all the way back to preschool or grade school?
I've personally known plenty. But the first couple that came to mind, when I read your question, was my own son and daughter-in-law......This is going to be a little tough to believe.....
Married nearly 25 years, with 4 children and 1 grand child.... my son came home from NURSERY SCHOOL, at the age of 4, to tell me he "loved MIssy," a cute little blonde in his class. Sure, OK....this was cute, but who'd have ever thought??!!
The most amazing part? They still hug and hold hands and my sweet daughter-in-law STILL laughs at my son's crazy jokes and silliness! She made me cry when she sent me a Mother's Day card, thanking me for raising the "Love of her life." Bless their hearts!
Wow! That is such a great story fpherj48! That's exactly why I asked the question. I was wondering if those really young crushes ever develop into marriages. Thanks for sharing your story about your son and his nursery school sweetheart.
LOL! "Nursery School Sweetheart!!"......Boy, if that doesn't sound ludicrous....and yet, it's true.........LOL
My husband and I met when we were 13 and 14. We "went together" for about a year and then my family moved. We wrote letters occasionally and then I married someone else. After 27 years, my now husband looked me up on classmates.com and we had our "first date". We married within 18 months and that has been 10 years ago.
Thanks for sharing your story hair bender. What a beautiful story, and without the Internet, it may have never happened. I actually wrote a Hub about just this sort of thing, called "Reconnecting on Facebook and Other Social Media With Old Flames".
