How does God use the wicked in His plan?

Often people say "God willing" or "God planned it."  Genesis 37 story of Joseph  Consider Romans 8:28
Romans 5 addresses desired qualities of a Christian attained through trials.

The wicked can be a powerful reminder of your own need to repent and get right before God daily.  Also, they are a good barometer to determine whether you have the love of God in you or whether you are only kind to those you prefer.  The wicked can also be an example of how an immoral or amoral lifestyle causes death.  Examples of this can be found in disgraced Illinois Governor Blagojevich, or baseball players that cheated and used steroids.  Finally, it is good to have the wicked simply because without the ability to do evil, no one could truly ever choose The Lord.  God just used a cheating girlfriend to relocate me to the church I need to be serving in.  He really is infinitely clever.

We have to remember that God has given us free will to do as we please. The wicked have chosen their path, as those of us who have chosen God and our savior Jesus Christ to lead us on the right path. This, of course takes much prayer and studying the word of God.

As you rightly said we can look at the story of Joseph. There are many more in the Bible. Even Jesus needed Judas to help Him fulfill His Father's will of going to the cross. This is why Jesus said, "Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also" ( Matthew 5: 39).

God created all things has the ability to do as he please. The word says Judas was born just for the purpose to betray JESUS. God harden Pharoahs heart just for the purpose of bringing himself glory. Throughout the Bible there are countless stories that describes who God use evil for his glory. Romans 13:1. JESUS loves u
