Any tips on how to increase your earnings on Hubpages?

I sometimes wonder whether writing in Hubpages is really worth my time and energy in producing new articles of my interest, if I am seeking to earn some extra dough. Would like to hear your opinion about this, especially from more seasoned Hubbers.

Thanks for your feedback Angela. In saying other networks, do you mean blogs, social networks or other types of websites? What kind of networks would you suggest?

I understand your sentiments, JamesAng12, but it does take a while to earn anything substantial. Unless you strike gold with an amazing stellar hub that holds the reader's interest, and has the right keywords that people use to search for your topic, it can take six to nine months before you can see appreciable views, let alone profits, from a hub. In the meantime, try adding specific products (Amazon and Ebay capsules) that a reader may use to achieve the full purpose of your hub. Even if they don't buy it, maybe they will click on it, which will bring you income. Hang in there.
Also, you said, ". . . producing articles of my interest . . ." Try to get in the head of the searchers. At the end of the day, it's really about their interests.

    Hi James,

I write about my passion for pleasure because I am happy to know that out there I do have a small group of people reading me sharing and commenting...at the same time it pays me back with few dollars! It is not enough to say "I am making money writing" but it is enough for the pleasure and for the exposure I get online.

To me if you have a good niche writing really useful hubs easy and nice to read you should encrease your traffic at the same time my best way to boost up traffic is via FB.

    take care!

Write quality article to attract viewers/readers and use social networking sites to promote your hubs. More viewers on your hubs the more it increase your chance of earnings.
