Is Obama so weak that the world is beating a path to Putin's door?

Most countries crave some reassurance that their security, especially at sea, will be guaranteed by an international community strong enough to offer that reassurance.  As Barrack Obama further demonstrates that "leading from behind," as he has done since before the Libyan War debacle, is a clear sign of weakness, indecisiveness and vacillation.
Vladimir Putin is anything but a weakling blaming everyone else for making him use talk about a "red line."  Putin is gathering allies and friends, many of whom are not American allies.  He appears to be the man in the room with Obama.

Well that is interesting and well spoken. One of our Carrier groups could easily destroy the entire Russian Navy. Do you even grasp what the warship power of a destroyer or battle designed C-130 is in terms of destruction. A single battle designed C-130 can take out a village of 8.000 in about 160 seconds. You just have to some how grasp the enormity of our power.
I do not think people get it. We are only restricted in annihilation of any opponent because we do not annihilate.  We have the capability to wipe out all Syrian forces in about 10 hours. We can do it without any forces on the ground. I do not like Obama, but he is my commander. He is not weak because he is avoiding death to 100,000 he is a Great Nation's Leader.
Vietnam has more army troops than Russia. One of our Carrier battle Groups of, I think seven can flatten Syria from almost a thousand miles away.
For all I see I can not understand people who do not get that. We practice restraint. Our men and women in uniform train more about protecting lives then taken them. A single jet fighter bomber can take out 10,000 people.in just about 3 minutes.
If poo poo Putin actually challenges us, Well that would be the end of Russian Military. They cannot sustain any conflict with us. And while we have an armed force 3 times their current size they are conscripted and ours are voluntary -- Think about that.
Our power is unrestricted --- not ten forces could oppose us --- get that into your brain. Now look an McCain cautioning restraint and clear lines for our forces. We used to swap swords with Soviets and Chinese but neither of those have an active carrier fleet of import. --- Just think about that.

You have got to stop thinking "can we" That is just silly.

A weakling with a nuclear arsenal is still a weakling.  Obama appears weak and Putin strong, appearances matter. The Syrian situation is in flux and Obama's public statements make him appear petulant and vacillating - Putin appears decisive and strong

My friend there was a really cool president that I liked but he was weak:
He said --- "talk softly but carry a big stick"

No they don't. Most country fears our whimsical bellicose outbursts. And I understand why countries ally behind Putin. To disagree with Israel and the US means a subtle declaration of war.
If Libya was a debacle what do you think of Iraq, Afghanistan, Mali, Somalia...
If Putin was not there we would eradicate any country that would think differently from us, and that would have more natural resources than us.

Really now -- you are claiming that Putin and Russia are deterrents to the US. This is not accurate but lays it out: http://www.globalfirepower.com/country- … _id=Russia
This is one US Battle Carrier group - just one.

Obama has done a marvelous job screwing up Iraq and Afghanistan.

But you must grasp the enormity of US power. Then when you start talking about all the conspiracy and "masters of war stuff" it becomes silly. One of our seven fleets could take out Syria. And we could use another to wipe our Russia's navy and then..

Irrelevant, a man with a loaded shotgun unwilling to use it is as well armed as a man with no shot gun. One does not win friends or defeat enemies with arms alone. It is in the will to fight that victory resides-ask the Vietnamese.

Putin, to the eyes of the world, represents peace. Since Afghanistan we
've been involved in too many wars. That is the difference. If Russia is rearming, if China is refining its weaponry it responds to our military deployment in their neighborhood.

we are the worlds only super power.   other nations have to concider economic colapse to engage in what we concider small scale smart missile strikes.  Their are no allied forces in the world that could withstand the full wieght of our military.  We fought Iraq and Afganistan with white gloves, and won by traditional standards in days.  What took years was the reforming of those countries polical systems, something no other country is has the power to do.

Syria can defend itself if faced with one enemy. But to have Turkey, Jordan as military platforms for the US, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Israel, England, Germany, Italy... to deploy their military to attack, it is cowardice and nothing else.

That is so cute, I wonder if that is the opinion you have of the multiple, multi-nation attacks on Israel or the multi-nation intvasion of France during WWII.  An actual invasion of Syria isn't likely.
