Is cyber bullying only for the weak minded people?
People could just delete their pages but they let cyber bullying keep going
I'm not sure what your question is here.
You mention "deleting their pages" instead of letting the bullying continue, which implies you're addressing the VICTIMS of cyber bullying...
Sure - a VICTIM can delete their page in order to make the bullying stop. If they choose NOT to delete their page to stop being bullied, they're not "weak-minded". In fact, I believe quite the opposite is true... They're strong, and they're standing their ground.
If you're talking about BEING a cyber bully, and whether or not THAT is weak-minded, then? OH HELL YEAH! Cyber bullying IS the very definition of weak minded.
I firmly believe that bullies - whether cyber or real life - are probably THE most fragile of all human beings. They've put the tough guy/gal persona in place to keep the world at a distance - usually to protect themselves. Quite often, one who has been hurt or abused in the past becomes the one to hurt or abuse another. It's a defense mechanism. Ironically, by becoming the tormentor, the bully feels a misguided sense of superiority and self worth that they, themselves, have had stripped away.
Like I said before - I'm not sure what your question was here... Whether it's the bully or the victim you're asking about. This is just my take on it... having lived on both sides of the question...
Peace...
If you are being bullied by someone else, deleting pages does no good, they will just restore them. Cyber bullies can send out tweets, joint every social media outlet and levied a constant barrage of insults and lies about you. It would be impossible to keep up with it. Also, the old saying is true, nothing is ever deleted from the Internet. Someone will make a copy and send it out. Cyber bulling is a serious problem and needs to be addressed. I do not have an answered. I have been called a few unflattering names here on Hub Pages. I mostly ignore them, but I am 62 and do not have to go to school tomorrow and here someone say, "did you see what was written about Larry. Do you think its true?" From that point the story not only grows in the cyber world it grows in the real world..
You are so right. No matter where someone spreads a rumor their will always be one person that will believe it. As teen I take more to the internet. People will put anything on the internet so teens will use the internet to embrass others.
