If you have or ever had a cat, what is the most unusual thing you have seen it do?
What is the most unusual thing you have seen your cat do? Our new cat, George, fits right in with our family (or husband), as he loves to recline in the recliner with my husband. He even reclines on his back in the recliner. So funny. I tried to get the best picture I could. There were better ones with him spread eagle, but he would wake up whenever I tried to get the photo.
Oh my giddy aunt! lol! Faith...I want to be a cat; such a hard life
Well, my old mum showed me a photo taken before I was born of her piebald furball that used to go into the kitchen and turn the tap on for a drink!
Hope you're having a smashing day;
Warm Regards,
R.Q.
LOL, now that is unusual and smart. Blessing and Happy Thanksgiving! Hugs and much love, Faith Reaper
I have had many cats over my lifetime, and they all were unique in their own way.
One orange tabby loved to play fetch and play in the water from a running faucet. He would bring an object to me (or anyone else willing to play with him), in his mouth and drop it on your lap to entice you to throw it so he could fetch it. He also would jump on the bathroom sink and meow while trying to turn on the water, until someone came to his rescue and turned it on so he could splash himself with it.
The other one was a grey tabby, who would run across the room as fast as she could and jump onto the wall, propelling herself backwards to run and jump off another wall, a chair, or the sofa. She would do this until someone told her to stop.
She is now old and frail and once in a while she attempts it again, but only makes one jump then lays on the floor to rest. (she looks exactly like your cat picture above)
Hi d. william, thanks for sharing the antics of your many cats! Yes, mine loves to hop up on the tub and wait for a drop of water to drip out of the faucet which is strange, as usually one thinks cats do not like water! Not so, obviously with some!
Our old family cat used to love sitting among the stuffed toys. He fit in nicely. He sat and stared at people form his nice cozy get away. Visitors didn't even notice him until he moved. It was a bit funny to see them jump after realizing he was alive.
Haha...so cute. My sister's toy poodle did that in my grandchildren's room at my house on the toddler bed with all the stuffed animals too. It was hard to tell which one was real and which were not. Thank you for answering.
That's funny. reminds me of another cat. I had a wicker basket shaped like a frog. The cat would knock it over & hide inside, & when someone walked by he would reach out of the frog's mouth & hit them with his paw startling them. Funny
Both of my cats love climbing on top of the bookshelves with their paws and tails hanging down. Makes me smile every time I see them. But the most unusual? Alex likes climbing all over and through the piles of laundry when they are on the couch. He burrows underneath and I always find him when folding laundry.
Hahaha... yes, they are so much fun to watch and in amazement at times at what they do! Cats do seem to love to hideout or tunnel through things. Thank you, Iburmaster, for answering.
My cat likes to change her sleeping position every month or so - she now never sleeps on her special blanket on a chair.
She started sleeping on a shelf in my bookcase, knocking down ornaments, until I blocked that trick by putting something heavy in her sleeping place.
Then she had a period of sleeping on top of a storage box in my hall, then on the bathroom stool for a few weeks, then in the bath, and more recently she's taken to sleeping on the kitchen draining board, listening to the dripping tap which presumably lulls her to sleep. I hate her sleeping there as I have to wash the draining board before I use it, but she is absolutely fixated on it at present.

Anybody claiming that The Avengers is the best film they've ever seen obviously has not seen many films, or has an extremely short memory. I'm pretty sure these people were the same ones who were saying that Avatar was the best film ever, and before that The Dark Knight, and before that The Lord of...

I am a firm believer that we are not alone in the universe. However, I have yet to see a UFO myself but believe some of the very credible evidence for them (Roswell isn't one of them for me)Have you ever seen a UFO?If so, where and what were the circumstances?

Is this the biggest sweet potato that you have ever seen? That is a normal sized apple sitting next to it in the photograph which I took. The sweet potato tipped the scales right at 2 pounds and 7 ounces when it was officially weighed.
