What are the health dangers of having freakishly large...

buttocks implants? Most of us have heard of the health and spinal problems associated with getting ridiculously large breast implants. But what about unnaturally-sized buttocks implants? I can't imagine they are conductive to good posture or even a comfortable trip to the toilet.

I suppose you'd have to be on your feet all day. I can't imagine every wanting to sit down. It doesn't look very comfortable, nor appealing.

It looks like they would make it impossible to sleep on your back.

I guess the dangers would be the same as the danger of breast implants. Leakage or infection. I'd be too scared of sitting down -- what if my implants burst or something? I know nothing about this subject so I don't know...

I read somewhere that Blac Chyna was hospitalized from an infection after her implants leaked. Very scary.

I think we place too much emphasis on beauty and being "perfect." Blame it on the mass media.

I think you have a strong point.

I have no idea but it seems that it would be very uncomfortable for sitting, not to mention really really unattractive if it was like the photo.

And I think she'd be a perfectly lovely young woman without that, you know? So sad.

The formerly freakish is now mainstream and desired. The famous Hottentot Venus of a hundred years ago was from South Africa and her large buttocks was of course a genetic thing. Went the sideshow route all over the world and died penniless and alone. Would imagine any reading of her life story would answer the question here. Just from sight it can't be a problem free transformation. But beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and humans are an eclectic lot so live and let live..

LOL! I have no idea what serious health risks it would pose, but you'd think it would have to screw with your personal gravity luggin' half the moon around behind you like that!

This question made my night! Thanks!

Any type of cosmetic surgery can be dangerous and doesn't have to be freakishly big to cause problems. It's not so much the procedure that's dangerous but rather who is performing the procedure that makes it so dangerous. Going to an unlicensed doctor to get an underground/cheaper price can result in abscesses, infections, kidney issues if silicone injections were used and embolisms can develop if not done correctly.

So true, Alphadogg16. I have a relative who got breast implants after losing both breasts to cancer. However, the procedure did help her regain her upper arm strength. Thanks for sharing!

I didn't know buttock implants existed in such an....overly disproportionate....size.  Honestly, it looks like someone shoved twenty packets of pantyhose down there.  Health risks: too many.  One big one (scuse the pun) would be rupture of implant contents.
