What's the appeal of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese?

Kraft Macaroni and Cheese: While at Walmart today, I threw a five pack of Kraft Mac and Cheese into my cart. When I got home, my son, hooped and said "Can we have mac and cheese for dinner tonight?"

It's easy to make and usually you can get even the pickiest eating kid to have some.

Thank you for responding FatFreddyCat. I so agree with you. My son is absolutely picky, picky, picky. It is a sure thing, breakfast, lunch or dinner wise.

Cheap, fast, easy and as you found out--kids love it. Add some bread crumbs on the top, or slice up some hot dogs in there and you have an ultra easy kid-friendly and not particularly healthy meal! smile

And O sooo delicious...so to speak.
And you can't really beat cheap, fast and easy...
      And filling!

Definitely ease of making it! It's also one of those foods that you always know what you are getting, that's why I love these sorts of foods.

I know that I can go home and make it and without fail it will taste the same each time, I love my consistency!

It is easier to make than the old-fashioned kind, it is cheap and kids like it (though why I've never understood).

We usually like cheap, although most of the time, cheap and good that lasts for decades don't usually go together, do they?

It appeals to me as a person who is a lazy cook. It's quick and easy to make. By opening a can of tuna a dumping it into the mix, I can make my lazy man's tuna casserole.

It does have the qualities of an almost  perfect base doesn't it?
