How many are NOT members of FB or Twitter and do not plan on either in the future?

Although I do have a FB account...I do not, nor do I ever intend to tweet.  I honestly don't get twitter...seems silly to me.  I guess I'm just an old fuddy duddy.

I do not have Tweeter (or FB) either. The radio station which I listen to is constantly tweeting everything instead of posting it on the stations website. I do not plan on getting either of them.

I never had interest in a FB acct. I like keeping in touch with people I know IRL the old-fashioned way: letters, phone calls, visits & lunch dates.

I have no interest in twitter. I made an acct when it first got big just to see the fuss and it seems just a lot of mindless patter, which I consider a waste of time & a distraction.

I recently broke down and got a FB acct to see if I can work on my marketing, which is really my weak point. This is why I mostly work as a ghost writer for other people-- I hate marketing, I just like to grab the money & run.

I feel that way about keeping in touch with people too.
I had that opinion of Twitter w/o signing on.
I had heard bad things about both on search engines.

I was a member of facebook for a short time. I found the two faced display there to be more than I could handle. My relatives were the worst offenders. They would spew some lovely words of encouragement and be a damn right a$$hole behind the peoples back. It was truly a horrible sight. Facebook should be called Fakebook.

As for twitter. Why would I tweet no one would ever see it. No one would follow me.  LOL

Honestly, everything associated with mainstream social media is a recipe for disaster. You say something online good chance it will be there to bite you in the arse. Girls and women looking for love in ALL the wrong places send photos to their boyfriends. Two months later they break up and all those private photos are now public. NOT A GOOD THING...
Just like Vince Vaughn said in The Internship. "You put it on the line" its not come back. LOL

That is interesting. I did not join either of them because I always felt that they were fakes just by what I heard.

I'm a member of facebook but not twitter. I would like to leave facebook, but the connection with distant family members is too useful to just throw away. So I do a lot of selective blocking to avoid getting angry by misinformed or drama-seeking posters. And the only reason I would consider joining twitter is so I could play the games from @Midnight on Comedy Central. But, so far, that hasn't been a compelling enough reason.

If you want to leave FB, why do you and your relatives not arrange meeting at a better site?

You can play games online or download some to your computer.

It's similar to cell phone providers. It's easier to just pick what everyone you know already has, rather than trying to get them all to switch. :-/
