   Why was my Google AdSense application rejected?
   
   I applied for Google AdSense so I could start earning revenue from my articles.  I was rejected.  I don't have 'suspicious activity' and I don't pay people to read my articles, I just promote them on Facebook and Twitter.  Is there any way I can reapply?  Might it be because I only have 7 hubs?

   Google is getting tighter with accepting AdSense applications. Other reasons why you might have received a rejection include the size of your audience and your topics. Some topics have high advertiser appeal (York tourism) and others have low appeal (music festivals).
   
   I suggest you keep writing but expand your subject matter and stay focused on growing audience, then try again in six months.

   Your account has only been open here for 3 days. That means the chances of you having an audience is slim right now. Google likes to see that someone is established first. If they approved people 3 days in they would be opening the doors to spammers. So keep writing quality hubs like the ones you have up now and give it a few weeks. In that time work on building your account, followers, views, be active, and see how it goes after you have a reader base.

   Mine got rejected 2 weeks back due to low text content, after which I did some research, posted questions. Here is what I learnt:
   
   1) Google AdSense needs your webpage to have a rich amount of text content. If applying for your hubpages profile page, you need to have at least 10 hubs. This will ensure more content and also more audience for your page.
   
   2) Google Adsense enforces restriction on the age of the website for some countries. For example, India and China accounts need the webpage to be at least 6 months old. This is to ensure more viewers that will ensure profit for them as well.
   
   3) Shortcut to get one approved is to apply the account for your personal blog page (if you have any) and ensure lot of text content in it. I recently created a Google Blogger account just for that purpose.

   They always reject newbies, they rejected me, but I kept applying and they eventually changed their minds.
