   As part of God's scheme of things, discrimination cannot be eliminated. Where there is light, there will be darkness, where there is good, there will be evil. When there is cold there will also be heat. Where there is wealth, there will be poverty.
   
   It's all part of divine scheme called maya.

   We are, as a species, a discerning animal, the wise Man, the reasoning Man, therefore it is inherent within the human character to be discerning, It is to make a choice between this or that or that which is pleasing or perceived as threatening. It is referred to as being discriminatory or having discriminating taste.
   With that in mind would you want to eliminate that human trait?
   Should we discriminate on the skin coloration, I would say no, as it has no real value.
   For those who identify, who use their skin tone as a status symbol to set themselves apart from others, these, I believe, are the racists. It is these people who set the tone for division.
   Skin tone does not indicate a race of people, as there is only one with billions of  insignificant variations.
   As we are all  Homo sapiens-sapiens maybe we should begin there, unless the coloration of ones skin is more important then our capacity to reason.

   I personally believe that categorising and stereotyping others is part of human/ mammal’s nature, to help us to survive, identifying the behavioural pattern and ability base on their gender, race, age and the differences, so they can past their wisdom to their children. But categorise also bonded people’s mind, decrease our thinking fixability. And the error of information conducts pass through cause bigger error, when it become mainstream, it become discrimination.
   So people will always look for the differences, and discriminate with or without intention. What do you think?

   No. All we can do is make it illegal to discriminate based upon a certain criteria and during business transactions and in the workplace.
   However we cannot legislate thoughts, beliefs, or preferences.
   If a woman has no interest in dating men who are shorter than her that is her preference and she's entitled to discriminate against those that ask her out. More often than not we are not aware of the (real) reason why we get rejected for jobs or relationships unless the rejecting person tells us.
   Lastly people are always looking for a way that separates themselves from others. Having "discriminating taste" or "class" is a compliment when it comes products and services.
   Equality = Mediocrity or average in the eyes of many.
   Most people would rather be "special" than "equal". The goal in life is to have an opportunity at becoming someone "special".
   The "in crowd" or "elitist" will always look for ways to keep those they consider beneath them out of the circle.
