What portion of your invalid links are to your own hubs that were unfeatured?
When I get unfeatured hubs, I sometimes don't have time to massage them and get them refeatured quickly. Unfortunately that creates broken links in related hubs, making more of them look bad. Sigh....
Is this a problem in your hub list too?
Hello Virginia. That was more of a problem before I narrowed the amount of hubs I have. I made it a practice to use the 'Broken Links' feature at the account page when I deleted a hub. Usually it would catch it for me. Otherwise, 'Yes', that was a problem for me being my own hubs as the source. That usually was the cause.
when i have broken links, i remove them so that I could get the hub featured again. Otherwise, I check out what happened to the links
The links annoy me too. Come to think of it the constant tweeking of hubs is starting to grind my gears. I wrote evergreen hubs to be just that - evergreen. Not "ever going to have to add one sentence or change a picture" to be featured. I think the featured/nonfeatured coding needs to be more forgiving if for nothing else, our links to our own pages trying to get them traffic and trying to get our trackers onto as many systems as we can.

Last night I went in an edited a capsule so that it would be full width, which is what HP wants everyone to do. The article I edited has been published and featured since 2012. When I went in and edited, however, the editor that read it decided that it was no longer going to be featured. I was told...

I have 4 hubs that are unfeatured, and no matter how I try imporving them, they remain unfeatured. Some of them are high scorers: One of them scored 88 today and yet it is still unfeatured. I can't understand this. Can anyone clue me in.

Hubpages have developed a habit of keeping unpublishing my hubs for "linking to prohibited sites" - However, the particular hub in question which keeps repeatedly being unpublished does NOT contain any links whatsoever! It has been submitted, re-approved and then unpublished again...

I am trying to add a link to a links module and it won't let me because it keeps saying it is Invalid. This is nonsense because I have copied the link url from directly from the website I want to add to my hub and there is nothing missing. The link works elsewhere. What's going on?

First off, my hubs are transferred from Squidoo, and I am aware of various issues there. I'd already checked and edited hubs after the transition, so this is all post transfer. What I don't understand is why some of my hubs get unfeatured after I've edited them? One even got...

I have finally published a hub that has been deemed unfeatured. I can only direct my attention to a table I inserted which was long when viewed on the mobile platform. Grammar is checked, titles tweaked, content is solid as its in the same vein as my other articles. Do you think this could be it?...
