My name is Steven Denger and I believe I can answer this question. First of all, when asking Jesus Christ to come into your life and getting babtized, you receive the Holy Spirit. This comes from the Word of God which the Holy Spirit himself brought to man. The Word also says to wonder after the Spirit - and also "those who wonder after the spirit are called the Sons of God."
This is accomplished by prayer, in Jesus name, asking God to immerse you in the Holy Spirit. Keep the faith that the Word of God (The Bible ) is true and expect the Holy Spirit to come because he will.
As you grow in the Spirit, you will feel Him and his presence. I feel Him right now as I share my sincere faith and belief in God while writing this letter. When I talk about the Lord to my kids or others, I will feel His presence and so will the ones I am speaking to. It is Jesus Christ coming in to sup with you.
God said, No one can understand the Salvation of Jesus Christ except by my Spirit. This is also true in reading and absorbing The Word. The Holy Spirit will fill you and make you understand the deep spiritual things of the Kingdom Of God.
When the Holy Spirit immerses you, simply because you prayed and read the Word, and asked him to, you will know it. There will not be any questions about it, I assure you.
Have Faith in the Word and not with what man may say, unless he is on the right track of the Kingdom of God. the Holy Spirit will inform you of any knowledge you hear and tell you whether it is the truth or not.
May God richly Bless you,
Neddyrich (Steven Denger)
Some signs; are Boldness, Fearlessness, speaking with Authority, uncommon wisdom, Healing others with prayers or the touching of with hands, the ability to cast out demons, the ability to walk upon the waters... the raising of the dead; both in spirit and of the flesh. When the Holy spirit is near or even upon a person or a group of people their is a feeling of security and peace. There is also a feeling of uncommon joyfulness. Some who think they have never experience It. Have mistaking Its presence to earthly incidences and call them miracles. When you have known the touch of the Fathers Spirit you just know that It is HIM and nothing else. The more you communion with the Comforter the more you Learn of Our Father's Nature. You will be reminded of your Past life and your knowledge held before the Fall as one of HIS and then you will begin to notice the lost of Him when you perceive His absence in this earthly plain. The greatest sign of the Holy Spirit is an instant Trust in the possessor of or the accompaniment of another with those bearing messages or greetings. Beware for even Satan and his angels are also capable of appearing as the Angels of the Light.
The Brightest of which is the Lord's Holy Spirit or to human eyes Satan as he portrays the Holy Spirit. If the True Image unrestricted revealed Itself you would have no more earthly worries for you would be Dead in your Flesh and have been turn back into the form that you once possessed as a son of GOD. If you are an enemy of GOD Jesus or of Those seeking them The Holy Spirit shall incite Fear and a feeling of impending doom a extremely heavy feeling comes upon you when either Satan, the Angel of Death or the Holy Spirit come for you to challenge or dismiss you from the world. This is the So Calling of the Spirit of GOD for all Souls belong to Him and All Soul will answer to what they have done to GOD's possessions. There are many signs but if one is not trained or seeking they will more then likely be unnoticed by the inhabitants of this earthly plain.
Galatians 5:22-23 says "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, (v23) Meekness, self-control, against such there is no law."
Galatians 6:6 says "Let him that is taught in the word "share" with him that teacheth in all good things." We are to teach! (Matthew 28:20) When Jesus (The Holy Spirit) "taught," did He "always" show these signs? (Matthew 21:12-13; Mark 11:15)! However, when "ON ONE ACCORD," the "Signs of the Holy Spirit" will be revealed!
Galatians 6:16 says "And as many as "walk according to this rule," peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God." Therefore when with those "ON ONE ACCORD," signs of the Holy Spirit are displayed! Otherwise, "teach!"
When "teaching," Jesus spoke to all "on their level!" When they disobeyed or disagreed with "His teachings," (fulfilling the law), He was not always "kind" and "NEVER" appeased anyone, as evidenced in Matthew and Mark above!
That is why the "world" LOOKS on one as not being of Holy Spirit when "teaching!" It contradicts their "belief(s)" and therefore, IT angers them and consequently "use Scripture" (out of context) to discredit "the individual" rather than "studying" Scriptures given! Always: "Look at the Message; NOT the messenger!"
It's "only human!" But Scripture says that "...the word of God is alive, and powerful, and "sharper than any two-edged sword," piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit..." With that affect, what does one expect? Jesus also said in Verse 34 of Matthew 10:34-42 "Think not that I am come to send "peace on earth;" I came not to send peace, but a sword."
And so IT is!
