   Are the Kardashians overrated?
   
   The Kardashians are an family originally known from the late Robert Kardashian who was the attorney of O.J. Simpson. Later on the very famous Kim Kardashian and Ray J tape was released leading to the show "Keeping Up The Kardashians." Now they currently have ended their tenth and supposedly final season of the show. Everyone of the pop culture are familiar with the names Kris,Kim,Khloé,Kourtney,Robert,Kendall,Kylie, and finally Caitlyn. So I ask have they earned their spots to fame or is America just giving it to them?

   The put on a good performance but lets be real America is full of pretty and interesting people. I guess since many peoples lives suck we have nothing else better to do than to stay stuck on other peoples lives to not think about our owns. 
   
   Dont get me wrong now she is hot.

   This was long before the Internet, Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and other forms of "social media"
   At one time it was reported that "Grumpy Cat" has earned over $100M whether true or not the cat is a multi-millionaire based upon it's facial expression. Did she "earn her spot to fame" or is America just giving it to her? Fame is much more easier to obtain today.
   Most fame is based upon popularity and how much money media outlets make when they write, photograph, or interview for radio and television shows. If sales of magazine featuring Kardashians on the cover stopped selling the magazines would stop using them.
   Ultimately the public decides what is hot and what is hype with their pocketbooks. A good publicist also helps!
