Halloween is on October 31 in the United States. People celebrate by wearing costumes-the scarier the better. In New York City where I live, a section called Greenwich Village has an annual Halloween Parade. In my building complex, there is usually a party given for children in which candy and treats are given.
As for me, I celebrate by looking at horror themed movies. I anticipate Halloween because that it is the time where I can have a marathon of horror movie watching. Also, during that time, the days get....shorter while the nights get.......L-O-N-G-E-R! My favorite movie to watch on Halloween is Bram Stoker's Dracula.
