So I got 2 of my 3 affiliate payouts today, and I have nearly paid off my credit cards. I've been paying on them solely with my paycheck, but I'll be doing that forever because I'm spreading out a limited check among a few cards.
I decided to use my Adsense, Ebay, and Amazon payments, and I estimate everything will be paid off next month to include still putting money away for school (to pay back my loan when I start back), put money away to my regular savings account, as well as leave a little spending money. I'm thrilled!
I seem to go through phases- 1) never using credit card and 2) always using credit card.
Doesn't help my boyfriend is using one of mine to build a dune buggy and the other for food and gas.
*Sigh* But happy one... I feel accomplished.
Time to write another hub... It looks like next month's Adsense is going to be less than this month, so I need to pump out a few hubs.
Same here.
p.s. your post alerted me to check my bank account. YAY for adsense/amazon direct deposit. Nice thing to wake up to.
I agree the Amazon and Adsense payouts were a nice surprise today! (I thought that they would be here on Monday.) Maybe your boyfriend should write a hub "How to make a Dune Buggy."
But it's great that you're earning enough to use money earned online to stay on top of or even pay off credit. I know you still put hours and hours in over time but I think you know what I mean.
And as the earning power should remain (and grow) I'd imagine you can do more with it as time goes by.
Nice one Whitney
I think Nelle is saving for a car or some such - I'm expecting she will be the owner of a sexy hotrod sometime in the future!
Have you applied to the IRS for your good citizen rebate for helping to reduce the national debt? (Like we have)
Imagine what you could achieve if you didn't carry debt like this... You'd be free to save..
Is this a common situation in the States?
Wow - congrats! No payouts for me yet - steep learning curve, but am getting things sorted out - didn't know you could make money here (not really) when I first joined, so this is so good to read about!

Hi All,It has taken me a long time to earn my first $100. I am wondering if I wait and let it build up to say $141 dollars, then can I ask for a payout and get all $141...or do I only get paid in $100 increments? Thanks,Michele

Obviously I'm not asking anyone to divulge their info, but I'm wondering generally, even statistically, how common it is for a small site, independent writers like many of us, to make a regular monthly payout from Adsense. Also, to do so, does it take a lot of sites, one really good one? I am...

Hello, my learned colleagues! I am new to this (posted a few hubs last night for the first time). I have been reading forums for several hours today, as well as a few interesting hubs (thank you, Mark Knowles), about blogging and creating links and adsense, and all kinds of intriguing stuff that I...

Hi,I'm going to reach my $100 mark in December with Google Adsense I think. I'm curious, it took me 2 years to earn this money. If I wait a bit longer (say until I have accumulated $110), then take my payout, will I get all $110 or do they only payout in increments of $100?Thanks in advance,Et...

All of my earnings across all platforms are up 8.92% from October 2010. Just considering HP, I'm up 5.1%. This is my second January on HP and my earnings have increased from January to January by 411%. This is how I judge whether or not my business is growing. On new platforms I expect to see...

I seem to have come to HP just before all the changes. I have put in almost F/T hours on the days I write my hubs. I've read whole books, not only the ones I review, but for material for my hubs. I think what I write is well written and informative. I kept hoping as I got more readers, the money...
