What do u think of these Buddhist statement towards both Christian gay hater and gay people.

Responding to tension between Church and gays, Buddhist nuns Taiwan Taipei once release these statements to both groups 1 Hating a person cause him/her no harm, but only cause harm to yourself. 2 Tolerance is humanity, to know more about others and tolerate their flaws, is a form of wisdom, thank ur friend because they helped u, thank ur enemy because they make u stronger 3 Life without love, but full of hate is like a desert, learning to love other and let go of your hate equal loving yourself.4 If a crazy dog bit u would u bite it back?

Christians do NOT hate gays!  We see homosexuality as a sin and do not approve of the lifestyle.  We do not hate the people themselves!  Okay?

Yet,.angry protester like in the photo above is common in the west. If they don't approve of it, just don't be gay them self and attend behavior modification course to get rid of his gay tendency, if possible, but other people, leave them along

Consciousness or Spirit are like vibrations, energy. If you send It out in the form of hate, yes, it can affect the other person or persons. You don't need to ask, really. You probably feel this in the workplace sometimes, even when it's not directed at you.

The Nun is right in the sense that it will also harm you. Tolerance is a step, acceptance is a bigger step and Oneness is the biggest step. Yes, we need to be Grateful, as adversity helps us to grow, and so we should not welcome but celebrate the thorns with roses.

Yes, we eventually need to transform hate and let Love. It is not a simple process, spiritual practices are necessary for the descent of the Higher forces (Grace) to transform our lower nature: selfless service, work, prayer, meditation, inspirational books....they expand the Heart and assist our growth.

By the way, the gay person is like anyone else trying to get by, and he/she, like me, would also be engaged in the struggle or ignorance of worldly life. It is not what comes from outside us that condemns us, but our inner, lower nature.

Most need to do some work from all races, genders, sexual preferences and so on. The Spiritual journey is an inner one for the individual and the Divine.

According to a paper published by Colombia university, Confucius ideology's influence is responsible for the age of enlightment by overthrowing the church's influence. Personally I suspect Buddhism might have an influence too, just guessing

I do not know, Bro. I was talking about Spirituality. I am used to the language of the Heart..it's purity, inclusiveness...innocence...identification and Oneness. I know little about other things. Much Love, Peter.
