To not get blamed for an ambassador's death; to blame someone / something else to deflect attention from her refusal to give the ambassador the security he requested it (on a near daily basis) or evacuate him when he begged for it (multiple calls for help that night that the military based in Italy and African Command wanted to answer)

Yes, but primarily Tamara she lied because it was in the middle of the 2012 election so she had to primarily for BOvbecause BOcouldn't risk a terror attack on 911 during the election campaign.Even media(Crowley)shilled for him in debate.

If she lies, she doesn't own it.
"I did not have sexual relations with that woman" notwithstanding my dna on her dress.
Hillary, "I didn't have any classified emails on my email server". notwithstanding it was unprotected, and they found some.

She didn't have the guts to be honest. She didn't care. Or maybe she was even covering for good old Obama.

      Greg
I think the Obama is heavily involved and Hillary literally knows where the bodies are buried.

Because it was a 'clandestine' operation... because they did NOT want Americans finding out they were working hand in hand with the Muslim Brotherhood to ship a boatload of Gaddafi's heavy weapons and surface to air missiles to extremists (many later to become ISIS) to fight in Syria.

It was a awful attempt at being able to deny interference in Syrian events, an awful attempt to hide their collusion with the Muslim Brotherhood in Libya, Syria, Egypt and elsewhere.

Because the lie, despite how it keeps being brought up, is a lot better than the truth becoming the accepted narrative, in their eyes anyways.

      Ken
How is this any different than the Iran Contra operation. So why isn't Obama and Clinton taken to task on it?

Brad I am just putting out there they do NOT want Americans knowing they were working hand-in-hand with the Muslim Brotherhood (who failed them), or that they were arming rebels (that became ISIS)... the lie is less damaging.
