What are you thankful for this year?
Will you give thanks for special things this season?
Marcy, This would be a response for me that has no end. I am by nature, a very appreciative and grateful individual. IMHO, all any of us need do is take a conscientious look around. Whether surveying as close by as our own life, or looking outward at all the world makes available & useful to us.
Even that which some of us may feel has transpired or materialized in our life due to our personal efforts & talents, must be humble enough to realize no one man or woman can assume 100% of the credit.
The preciousness of life itself can be appreciated every moment we breathe and continue to exist. The same of course, goes for having the gifts of family, friends and all the people who help in our survival. As I said, there can be no end to the reasons for gratitude.
While Thanksgiving is a wonderful remembrance and lovely tradition...not to mention, "delicious," it is but one day of our lifetime. It's purpose in directing us to call our thankfulness to mind and to express these things among our group of loved ones is special. Hopefully, we recognize this reality each day in many ways.
I am ever grateful and very humbled by the blessings we have as Americans~~even during tumultuous political storms that come and go. Perhaps we need to realize that despite these unpleasant issues, we remain who and what we are as a strong, resilient and determined country of people.
That I have a family far beyond anything I could have hoped for and perhaps in excess of what I might deserve, I can never be grateful enough. The comforts, small or extensive, our abilities to help our fellow man and feel a pride and self-worth that comes from knowing our purpose here on earth...this is just some of all I will vocalize my Thanks for on Thanksgiving Day.
I wish you and yours a wonderful, plentiful & expandable life of all there is to enjoy........Happy Thanks giving. Paula
I can't say this year has been perfect, but I am grateful for having all of my senses. I can still watch my grandchildren growing and loving them. I can hear even (although I suffer from tinnitus - ringing in the ear) the sound of my favorite songs and the laughter of my family. I can smell my favorite fragrances, including pumpkin pie and the flowers and herbs in my garden including rosemary, thyme and lemongrass. I can still feel the wind on my face and the sun shining on my skin. I can still think and remember my adventures throughout the South Pacific and Europe. I am so blessed.
I'm thankful to be spending Thanksgiving with my parents, brother and sister. It's been seven years since I've seen them!
I had this one of a kind traumatic experience this year. In just a month apart there are several medical conditions happened with my family….my mother in law had intestine surgery, my brother had serious stroke, my father in law had heart attack and my husband had heart attack, but I am so grateful that we are all be together this coming Christmas!
Life is beautiful. We just need to embrace some inconveniences along our way sometimes! Have a great awesome day to all!
I can hear my mother talking in the background as I write that I am so very thankful for my family around me. It is the basic foundation for happiness. Also, for good health and the faithful love of God who makes me strong.

What are you most thankful for today, and how will you express that thanks?I am thankful for life and earthly time, for I am not yet all that I can become. Today offers a new chance to become what will make me (and through me, perhaps others) most happy, most peaceful, most productive in a...

Why do YOU celebrate Thanksgiving?Seems like a pointless day. Have holidays just become about food and gathering? If so aren't those things we should and can be doing year round?
