Is Trump going to govern by executive order only?

He has only been president for less than a week and he has already issued a multitude of executive orders.  If he continues to do this, he will be bypassing congress.  The irony is, this is exactly the criticism that the GOP had about Obama.  In my view that makes Trump and the GOP hypocrites.

It appears to be that way...after all, if he can start up the Keystone Pipeline (in which he owned a share in the company putting it together), he will do it.

A good thing is a good thing no matter who has an interest in it. You haven't seen the movie and yet u want to pan it. We have all seen the Obama and HRC movie and it didn't have a happy ending. 28yrs of bad US politics has ended,

My new question still awaits you. What I hear here from you is blah blah blah. No facts, no arguments, and no specifics, just red herring. See you at the new ? bye

Why do I feel like it's only a matter of time now before he pulls a Yanukovych and Washington starts to look a lot like Kiev?

Nostrovia Why can't you wait instead of spreading doom and gloom. Can't wait 100 days? We gave Obama 8 yrs and it was gloom and he made is look like Cuba

Hey, if poop doesn't hit the fan and DT actually makes the world a better place I'll be the first to say I was wrong. You can quote me on that. For now things are looking pretty gloomy & I call it as I see it.

The problem is that Democrats have made the unelected bureaucracy in the Executive branch so large and powerful that it can essentially go around Congress.
This issue is detailed in "By the People" by Charles Murray.

Tamara: I read the excerpt of your citing in Amazon. As an example, do you think disbanding the EPA is a good thing?   After years, we are currently smog free in the LA basin..  If it wasn't for the EPA, we would still be smog infested.

Mike point well  taken. I lived in the LA basin and currently in the OC. I remember the infamous sig alerts. In elementary school, this alert meant it was too  smoggy and dangerous to play outside. I don't miss those days.

Yes Dean, people think that we can just get rid of federal programs that are for the greater good of the people.  They won't accept that there are somethings that are done better by the government instead of being privatized, like FDA,FAA,FCC, et al.

That's exactly what I said to someone else this morning.  He is signing executive order after executive order.  He is by passing congress and this is no longer democratic country.  I'm so scared about everything now.  Who knows what this clown is going to come up with next.  There are rumors already that he is preparing for war against china.  He told the people in pentagon to invest into the army, make sure all weapons are in working order and recruit more military.
