Does anybody have a form of GUN control that works and is not easily debated?

I see a lot of garbage and name calling always being thrown back and forth, but seriously, can anybody add anything useful to the discussion?

It's called , "Criminal Control "  , how about if we demand results from the single most expensive and unproductive form of  governing a people , Its combined
law enforcement system . More importantly the absolutely unproductive legal system .  If you have never served on a jury , you should go and witness the circus of a court system in America .

Fix the courts and watch  ALL our lives improve .

Yeah, I have witnessed the courtroom circus, it is awful. I see so many people claiming we need more gun control here on HP, I would like to know which gun control laws or policies would help avoid mass murder situations or murder in general

There are no  laws which would help avoid or remove mass murder situations, real way to solve it is to become a society where law abiding citizens are armed and ready to protect themselves at all times... until then, they remain victims in waiting.

the more research I do, the more I feel either we are victims of criminals or victims of the government. I cant find a successful model that also allows people to have rights, thoughts or feelings that are not controlled by who is in charge

"Not easily debated" I don't think is possible in America today.

That said there are examples of what works in the world, and what doesn't.  But we should consider what is relevant to our country and our current situation.

Accepting the fact that there are many guns in our country, and that there are open borders that allow very violent drug runners and gangs to cross almost at will into our country, it should be obvious that making guns illegal isn't going to solve the problem.

Compare America with a similar country that has a large percentage of guns to population ratio, Switzerland.

One of the reasons the crime rate in Switzerland is low despite the prevalence of weapons is the culture of responsibility and safety that is anchored in their society and passed from generation to generation.

The Swiss citizens take it as part of their civic responsibility to train themselves with guns and know how to use them.... our society does not. And hence a large part of our society are victims in waiting.

The real answer is for us become like Switzerland, and every citizen who is mentally stable, never convicted of a violent crime should become familiar with guns, own a gun, train with guns, and be allowed to carry a gun.

If we were able to protect our children's schools, our churches, and common areas, there would be almost no mass shootings, because the shooters would almost always be stopped.

I don't foresee a time where we will be free of the mentally insane, the emotionally disturbed, or the psychotically violent.  Until they have found a way to remove all violently inclined threats from our society, the best way to protect ourselves and stop their violence IS to be able to protect ourselves and stop their violence.

Hahaha Ken, "Not easily debated" I don't think is possible.  I think you meant called names because you don't agree. If history has taught us anything it WILL repeat itself if forgotten

The Left will try hard to confiscate all weapons, with much MSM support.  http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-11-1 … -shootings

As much as I dislike MSM, it's who pays there checks that upset me. Politics has always been a political pony show and its reached a point of being almost intolerable. It is true to life more money, more power and we suffer during the struggle

Well in regards to guns, the MSM is pushing the agenda, I look at CA and figure that is the direction they will try to take the nation: http://theviralpatriots.com/california- … -gun-laws/
