The worst thing HP has ever done is getting rid of the Q&A section.
Wish they put it back on, because back then I at least had a choice, which I don't have now.
Sigh....I respect everybody's opinion, but I really miss my choice to ignore.

edit to add: I meant the Q&A forum section.

Titia, HP is currently running a test project and they have a Q&A section attached to each hub. It is working great. Instead of all of those weird questions that could be looked up on Google, people that read a hub first are more likely to ask something that affects them. I am not sure of what kind of time line they are looking at, or when it will be available on all hubs, but when it is you wont be able to ignore it! Just wait until some reader asks your advice on lambing.

That's not what I meant DrMark. I meant the forums.  But what you describe sounds great.

Yes, I remember them too. I just thought that you might not have heard of this other program. You do recall all of those lame questions on Q&A? That is why HP got rid of it. That is what I was talking about.

Yes, but now those lame questions are cluttering the forum.

Yes, I agree with that. Last night after I posted on your thread I bumped theraggededge´s forum post about "Why is this forum full of cr*p?" because the top 5 were just questions that have nothing to do with HP.

The Q&A section served no purpose. It was a haven for spammers, scammers, and gibberish. Good riddance to it.

Yes, but have you been visiting the forum lately?

Of course. I'm visiting it right now. big_smile

It was inevitable that some of the goofballs who infested the Q&A section with gibberish would migrate over this-a-way once "their" section got shut down.

Yesterday when I logged in to HP there were about three dozen forum "threads" by the same guy pimping bogus "tech support" phone #'s for various computer services. Just another day on the Net.
