Do people actually receive Adsense payouts?  In a year an a half, I've earned a sum total of $16 and change.  At the rate I'm going I have over 9 years until my first adsense payout! 0:

Natalie, I can relate. I also have the HubPages Earnings Program and income there has improved dramatically recently, however Adsense earnings....well I have been here almost nine years and am still nowhere near reaching my first payout.

Yep, they do.  The more views you get, the more you'll make on Adsense...but you won't make as much as on HP.  Depends on your topics, too.  Some are more popular with certain advertisers who then are willing to bid more to place their ads on your page.  Right now I get Adsense payments about 6 times a year.

I just had my fourth year here and earning a small income from HP. Took a while and had to find my niche, but yes, it’s completely possible to earn a few hundred dollars a month.

I receive a payment about once a year from Adsense but it definitely happens.

Yes, but it’s a lot slower with accumulating when one has the HubPages Earnings Program, as I have, since there is only one Google ad at the bottom.

Even though I get paid monthly from HubPages, my Google payments only come two or three times a year.

It takes time to grow. Just keep working at what you’re doing — writing quality hubs that get moved to niche sites, and you’ll get there too. You’ve only been on HubPages for four years. When I was at my four year mark, my Google payments were rare too.

Like Glenn, I use the Earnings Program, and although I get a monthly check from HP, Adsense checks are only a couple of times per year.

Yes, it is slow. When using HP program, it's about every three months. I did switch to Adsense only when traffic dropped last year (year before?) and it equalled what I had been earning on HP.

I am using the HubPages ad program and my AdSense earning right now are pretty much zero. I think maybe I made like three cents one month LOL. I am happy with what I am making with the HubPages program though so I dont stress it.
