We had some good ways to remember spelling when I was at school. Maybe others will remember them too. Like to spell "because," you have to remember "Big Elephants Can't Always Use Small Exits."

There was one to remember the colours in a rainbow, too:
      Richard (Red)
      Of (Orange)
      York (Yellow)
      Gave (Green)
      Battle (Blue)
      In (Indigo)
      Vain (Violet)

The brings to mind the color code we learned in high school for electronics resistors:
Bad Boys Rape Our Young Girls But Violet Gives Willingly

black, brown, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, gray, white.

        Not very acceptable today, though!

This is the only one I've used to remember something in school: My Very Experience Mother Just Showed Us Nine Planets

Mercury Venus Earth Mars Jupiter Saturn Uranus Neptune and Pluto in the right order (distance from the sun).

That one is brilliant. I might use it myself since I’m twenty-five and still can’t always remember which one’s which.

For this kind of stuff, there is a lot of activity on the topical forums. Go there tongue

Haha, and me you. That's why I reply to most of your posts even if I don't want to directly contribute to a topic tongue But you would definitely get a lot of responses on the topical forums.

Not on this one. If he changed it to "What is your favorite acronym for the midterm elections?" or "How does your favorite acronym encourage illegal immigration?" he would have all kinds of comments.
Of course if he were really looking for a lot of participation he could ask "What is Trumps favorite acronym?"
