Trump was still seeking Moscow tower in 2017.

According to Michael Cohen today in court, Trump was still negotiating for a Trump Tower in Moscow in August 2017 after he was elected President. Cohen lied to Congress about this deal but is now coming clean in court. No surprise at all as his kid glove treatment of Putin told much about his business relationship with the tyrant.

      Randy: Remember how many times Comrade Bozo Trump jumped up and down like a little girl in a little tizzy fit on the campaign trail proclaiming in paraphrase that he never had any dealz in Russia when the DEALz could be found so easily on GOOGLE in a few seconds ?? And that was while he was apparently seeking at least one DEAL in Russia and just subsequent to his Mrs. Whatser name beauty pageant DEAL in Russia just a few years prior;

UNREAL, and some of his cultees actually bought into that BS and STILL buy it from this sick, vile, mentally warped 72 year old:

Donald Junior appears to be in deep with this 'Treasonous Trump Tower' meeting that included Russian spies, he really should call Vladimir to see if a room is available somewhere in Moscow if Putin still has any use for him and guess what? According to reports, prosecutors asked Bozo Trump if he was aware of the meeting which means he's not far behind for an orange jump suit fitting which is fine because at least it won't clash with his face paint:

I wonder if Mueller will recommend capitol punishment for accepting help from our arch enemy to pervert and subvert our presidential election?

Jake, Cohen also said DT's family members were also aware of the deal. It'll be very interesting to see their answers when called back to the House Investigative Committee early next year. I think there's a family rate on orange jump suits.

Yup Randy, buying orange jump suits in bulk usually gets you a deep discount, and every little bit of savings helps especially when it seems as if your domestic hotel relies upon foreign money to just barely stay in the black:

          Oh My MY MY :

"Michael Cohen pleads guilty to lying to Congress about Trump project in Russia"

"Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump's former lawyer, made a surprise appearance before a federal judge in New York on Thursday to plead guilty to lying to Congress about work he did on an aborted project to build a Trump Tower in Russia.

Flanked by his lawyers, Cohen admitted making false statements in 2017 to the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence about the project.

Cohen told the judge he lied about the timing of the negotiations and other details to be consistent with Trump's "political message."

Cohen and prosecutors referred to Trump as "individual one" throughout Thursday's proceedings and said he lied "to be loyal to Individual One."

Things are picking up speed now, Jake! The timing is so fine as Mueller let Donnie lock himself in with his written answers a few days ago. It will be interesting to see if he had to answer a question about the deal in his written answers.

It's a crime to lie to the Special Prosecutor even if it's written answers. Trump is now in deep doo doo!

"It will be interesting to see if he had to answer a question about the deal in his written answers."

              He did. The questions included:

"What communication did you have with Michael D. Cohen, Felix Sater and others, including foreign nationals, about Russian real estate developments during the campaign?"(1)

Previously the Moscow project was said to have ended in Jan 2016. Michael Cohen now says it ended in June 2016.

"What discussions did you have during the campaign regarding any meeting with Mr. Putin? Did you discuss it with others?"(2).

Cohen said he discussed with Trump the possibility of Trump meeting Putin as part of the Moscow project.

"What discussions did you have during the campaign regarding Russian sanctions?"(3)

Michael Flynn was convicted for lying about the fact that he discussed sanctions with the Russian ambassador. It's possible Mueller has information about what Trump knew about the discussions and when.

"What involvement did you have concerning platform changes regarding arming Ukraine?"(4).

In 2016 there were reports the Trump campaign had changed the Republican Party platform in relation to Russia and the Ukraine to be more favorable to Russia, e.g this report from The Atlantic in Aug 2016:

"Two weeks ago at the GOP convention in Cleveland, the Republican platform was altered to remove any reference to arming Ukraine in its struggles against Russia"(5).

Again, it's likely Mueller has information about what Trump knew about this change and when.

Interestingly, this month the Guardian reported that Manafort met with Julian Assange in 2016 inside the Ecuadorian embassy in London.

One of the questions on Mueller's list from April was:

"What knowledge did you have of any outreach by your campaign, including by Paul Manafort, to Russia about potential assistance to the campaign?"

If Manafort did meeti with Assange in the Ecuadorian embassy, it's very likely British intelligence would have signals intelligence to confirm it. If that is the case, it's almost certain the intelligence would be shared with the FBI.

All the questions continue in the same vein. Each one an opportunity (and invitation) for Trump to commit perjury.

August 2017 is when Cohen lied to the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence about when the "Moscow project" ended.

He previously said it ended in Jan 2016.

He now testifies he had multiple conversations with "individual 1" (Donald Trump) and briefed his family members on the project up until June 2016, after he had officially become the Republican presidential nominee(1).
