   Have you ever heard of core(mind) splitting ? What are its effects on individuals? Does it contribute to Multiple Personality Disorder(MPD).How can one identify an individual who has had his/her core split?

      A google search says that "mind splitting" is actually termed "Schizophrenia" in the medical field.  You can study the illness for more information.

         @Wilderness I am not talking about schizophrenia here.I am talking about the scientific experiments of the Illuminati Monarch Program.They split infant mind cores through trauma.

            As there is no evidence for any "Illuminati Monarch Program" there is also no evidence for "splitting infant mind cores through trauma", whatever that may mean.

      @Livetolearn, the Monarch Program exists but it is hidden from public view.If you want prove of this just switch on the T.v or radio.People are being programmed at a subliminal level.Why do you think you want to run to the nearest iPhone store to buy the newest model after seeing an ad.Do you think that this is still unproven.
      Subliminal programming takes several years to fine tune the thought process of an individual to produce the desired outcome.

         I've never bought an iPhone and don't buy just because a commercial seems enticing. People aren't being programmed to purchase. We are a consumer society and consumption is required for the society to function. Higher and higher consumption. People are being manipulated, certainly, but not by some nefarious, hidden agenda. It isn't mind control, it's the effect of incredibly successful marketing.

            I'm not so sure - thinking back to pet rocks makes one wonder about mind control.  Through incredibly successful marketing, to be sure, but mind control of weak minds.

               I don't think it is really "mind control", but marketers can definitely understand human psychology, and definitely at least influence us. But i bet this has been going on for thousands of years. People know how to manipulate other people.

                  Yep - been going on for thousands of years, from shamans to witch doctors to advertisers.  A never ending attempt to control what others do, through both physical and mental means (fear, hope, promises, whatever).

                  Yep.  Just corporate America (and everywhere else in the world) coupled with gullible people. 
                  
                  I once finished up building a new liquor store as the VIP's came in and decided just where to place products.  You wouldn't believe the effort put into figuring out just where to place which products for the highest profit!  They spent several days in that tiny store, leaving sticky notes on the shelves everywhere as to what to put there.

                        Same thing.  Great study and care to guide customers to the path the store wishes them to take.  I've looked at some of it in a grocery store and can't decide if I'm disgusted or amazed.  Maybe both.

                     Not surprised. My family once owned the only large supermarket in the community. Sales reps fought over product placement. I remember we could build a display on an end cap and sell bundles of product, on sale or not, that people rarely bought on its primary shelf space. We are an odd species, to be certain.

      Humans have always had a desire to control others.Wars have been fought for control of the human mind.Schools, corporations, religious organizations and others strive to influence people through subliminal programming.The society has just become complacent and many people have abdicated thinking.

         That's the first step in a conspiracy theory. Thinking you can see a truth hidden to the ignorant masses.
         
         Abdicating thinking comes in many forms. A conspiracy theory ignores many truths, in order to justify a conclusion.

            By  'Many people have abdicated thinking'  I meant that people do not want to think independently of each other.They want a surrogate mind like the Government, their parents, their friends or other people.
            
            How many times have you heard people trying to consult on very simple things like clothes to wear and food to eat?

                  That sounds like the first canned response Lenin demanded the populace commit to memory whenever he might ask; after the communist take over.
                  
                  In the final analysis and alone in the dark; what you perceive as Truth is the only truth you know because it is the only truth you can depend on. But, in the light of day, when your mind is actively engaged with the world around it; does the Truth held in the dark pass the test of reason? When compared to the Truth held by others, given all of the facts that our eyes and ears can access, collectively, where does it stand and why does it stand there?
                  
                  Many times, people claim their Truth is superior because others have abdicated thinking. Many times, it is claimed that the one with the somewhat singular take on Truth can simply see what others can't. They intuit through some special form of spiritual guidance or secret knowledge, or superior intellect, etc. What that all boils down to, without some proof to offer, is that a Truth claimed is, quite likely, not truth but a desire to satisfy a need. Just like the person asking what clothes they should wear to a specific function. They are attempting to fulfill a need brought about by insecurity.
                  
                  I will say that I, if having the benefit of another person nearby, will consult them on what to wear. Did I abdicate thinking? No. I know from experience my taste in clothes sucks and I always overdress for every occasion.  It is the result of my insecurity on that particular point of my existence and my observations of others which has led me to feel the desire for input.
                  
                  Truth being 'what you say it is' is the origin of self conflict, or the beginning of enlightenment. It depends on the what and why of what you believe. I've always felt that reality is 15 oz of bs wrapped around 1 oz of Truth. Through careful observation and rigorous introspection we peel the layers of bs from our own minds in our attempts to ferret out Truth.
                  
                  Adherence to Occam's Razor has led me to be skeptical of conspiracy theories which take a round about way to explain social issues and leaves Illuminati theories in the 'conspiracy theory' genre.
