I occasionally come across Muck Rack while writing for clients. It looks like a writer's/journalist resource service. It's not free. Anyone here uses it?
I don't use it, but they have stolen a number of my articles (and other hubbers too.) I'd steer well clear.
Now, I remember. No wonder they sounded familiar. I had a brain freeze and my mind when blank. I totally forgot. They stole some of my articles, too. Thank you for the reminder. I will steer clear of them and tell my clients.
I think at least one of my articles may have been stolen there. what do you do in that case.
L.M., You can contact them and they will remove it. At least, they did that for me.
I was at there site but couldn't figure it out. How do I contact them?
When I would click on the links that were showing, it would bring me back to Hub Pages but it was someone else's articles.
You can scroll down to contacts on the bottom right. Here is their email hello@muckrack.com. They also have an 800 number.
Ok I found the e-mail and sent them an e-mail. Any idea how it works? How did you find your article was copied there?
I did a search of my name, and it showed up on Google. The response was pretty quick.
Here's a link to an earlier thread about Muck Rack. https://hubpages.com/community/forum/34 … k-postings
I did the same thing but didn't know how or why my name was there

I noticed that Muck Rack has built a profile of me on their website (along with articles by another Eugene Brennan, lumped into the profile, but I requested they be removed). I can claim the profile. Would there be any point in doing this? Does the site have any authority that could be beneficial...

Does anyone have experience with this site? I'm impressed that I'm getting free advertising from a site that displays my article titles and descriptions. But... I'm also cautious about signing up for a site that probably scraped my article data from LinkedIn. I also notice that the last few...

I did a search looking for an article on a blog I used to write for and came across Muck Rack. The site posted all my articles from my personal blogging site. Have any of you heard of Muck Rack? Is this good, bad, or illegal on their part? Should I complain?

I just found that one of my Hubs was stolen in June 2014 and published in a magazine. I wouldn't have found out about it except that they have now put their magazine on-line. It was stolen by a slick looking magazine in Australia, and I am from the US. I told them if it wasn't...

Thanks to ThatMommyBlogger for finding this site and bringing it up in another thread. I think it deserves its own thread to warn HP writers. It looks like a site called 2uidea-dot-com is taking newly published hubs and putting them up as their own at a rapid pace. It appears they have filled their...
