Got a topic idea you, yourself, never feel inclined to to write about, but are interested in?
Post it here.
This thread is self-serving. My objective is to see something that gives me an idea to write an offshoot about.
I'll start. I'm interested in some of the following, but of insufficient knowledge to write about it. Seems to me this experiment could help others as well as me. There is also the objective of finding new found interests.
Writer
Caregiver
Day Trader
Software Engineer
Banking
Finance
Computer Consultant
Telecom
Tech Support
Sales & Marketing
Programmer/Analyst
Chemistry Lab Tech
Stock Clerk
Casino Shill
Electronics

And, yep; this is a messing arounf thread. Objective is the same; but do respect the mispellings to become more frequent.
my view point of black racism and my Christian view point of the gay rights issue. I am interested in it and discuss it with friends but am afraid it could be too explosive to write about.
I already have written several articles on various aspects of photography.
Casino Shill??? I don't even know what that is! LOL Tells you how much I hang around gambling establishments!
I also have an article on the LGBTQ community, and the unfair prejudices they face.
Some articles on home repair as well, some on education, some humor.
Most of the other categories, technical/engineering/computer stuff, like you, Para, I lack the expertise to discuss.
Yep--Jill of all trades; master of none. LOL
Yep, same as you; especially: "Yep--Jill of all trades; master of none. LOL"
The above is only some of my life experiences.
The search continues... I want a slammer of an article idea and so does everyone else.
Please post random thoughts here.

Some of those I have covered, here and there. You have given me one I have not thought of.
brainstorming, I have to turn off the filter. I have touched on a few of them, but for most of them several people could write about it without duplicating much.
I think it helps to break down a larger category. For instance Tech Support and Computer consultant. I am not an expert in either of those things, but I do know how to fix some computer problems, and use some computer software.
So I could write a hub about:
How to use layers in Adobe Illustrator or
How to get rid of WannaCry Malware

And it's right under our very noses. What is it? Stuff that you're interested in!Your hobbies, your work, your experiences... do a bit of keyword research to see how many other people are interested in it and what search terms they're using to find it, then write about it (then rewrite, spell...

Hi there,I'm new to HP and so far have just two hubs. I'm trying to come up with new ideas for hubs but am getting a little bit lost/stuck. I've read a lot of tips and tricks, with most people saying "stick what you're good at", which is fine but where on earth do I start?! My first two...

I have been diligently writing away on niche stuff and today realized that the market for much of what I write is way to small. I need to diversify in a big way. Please give me some ideas on how to find topics that people want to read about.
