Hi Hubbers,
I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article? What can I do to improve? Thanks!
Here is my article: The Iconic Rolex Gmt-Master Root Beer Watch (must be signed in to view)
It's an advert, and points to some business or other. It's not permitted here. It reminds me of one posted yesterday by a hubber, also from London.
Your bio says you're an author, whereas you are clearly a marketer. It's not what HubPages is looking for.
Hi Stella, You seem to be having problems figuring out where to go with this. Just maybe the root of what you want to say is in the line "the Rolex Root Beer is a watch from Rolex whose popularity has grown significantly over the years since its launch."
I sold expensive watches back in the day. There were watches that were "timeless" (sorry about the pun) and some, not so much. Maybe you need to reshape your article to make it clear WHY the watch never really went away. You might even tell its story that way. What hurdles did it face to become popular? What else was in the market when it launched and how did it find its place among the competition? If it declined at some point, why? and how did it come back?
Good luck!
Your article is dangerously close to an advertisement, which will always be rejected. I would try to change the focus of your hub by talking more about the watch's history, such as its association with Clint Eastwood.
There are also some weird sentences in the hub. For example: "The gold nipple-hour markers of the GMT-Master 16753 lend it the name ‘Nipple Dial’." The hour markers don't look like nipples to me? What the heck is this about?
And then you say "The less commonly known nickname is the ‘Tiger Augen’ or ‘Tiger Eye’." Does Augen mean eye? What is the connection between the two terms and why did it earn this nickname. These are things you should expand on if you talk about its history and reputation.

I'm not a professional, and I don't know enough about SEO to even be considered a novice. But I sure thought this one would do a little better than it has. Especially at this time of year. http://hubpages.com/hub/Atomic-Watches- … u-Need-One Any advice from the masters?

Do you find anything wrong with wearing a replica or fake watch? My friend wears a fake Rolex that looks similar to the real thing. If you're not a watch aficionado, you wouldn't be able to tell. What are your thoughts in owning a replica?
