Is there any way to look back and see what you Hub or Hubber score has done over time?? Thank you!
No, Amanda, not that I am aware of. They change so often, especially Hubber score, that it would be almost impossible.
I have read almost all of the forum posts for the last 6 years+ and have never seen anyone give directions on how to do this.
I am not even sure why it would matter to you. All that matters is that you write an article so that it obtains enough traffic.
(Just read your shed article. You are definitely on the right track. Do not worry about your hubber or hub score at this time.)
Okay thanks, DrMark1961. I noticed that one of my hub scores had dropped and couldn't remember what it had been before. I thought it might be neat to see a graph of what your score does over time. Another question if you don't mind... My first hub was selected for a network site. (Is this common?) It seems to have less traffic than the ones that are on Hubpages. My impression was that hubs that are chosen for network sites generate more traffic?? Now I see that there is a process to submit your hub to a network site. Do you always have to submit your hubs, or do network sites randomly choose them, like they did my first one? I'm confused. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience!
That first one was selected for letterpile, which does not have good traffic. You must get your other hubs over to niche sites because, in my opinion, if they are on HP main site they will NEVER get a good ranking from the search engines and never get decent traffic.
Definitely submit your articles to niche sites every two weeks. There are a few things that will need to be improved, like using capitalization in the APA style both for the titles and subtitles, but if the articles you submit are not accepted you can ask for help here on the forum and receive a lot of good suggestions.
Once you get a lot more on the niche sites, editors are more likely to notice them and you will not need to submit them manually.
Okay, I see. Since Letterpile picked up the first article, do I need to wait two weeks to submit one, or can I do that now?
Thanks for the constructive feedback. I will work on my titles and subtitles.
I just cleaned up the shed article. Would you mind taking another look and see if I got it?? Thanks!
I am sure there is more to be improved but I think you should submit it to Dengarden and see the response.
Okay! I am totally open to what else needs improvement, if you care to share. I welcome the help.
I would change the title to something more searchable. If a title is too long it is cut off by Google (I think 55 characters) so make the part about the shed "How to find and add a shed to your backyard" the first part.
I think it would be best to submit it to Dengarden and if it is not approved start a forum thread and look at suggestions from other contributors here.
I wasn't thinking about the 55 character cut off. I already submitted it to Dengarden, so we will see what happens. Thanks again!
Any idea how long Dengarden's editing queue is?? I received an email from them saying they were placing my article about the Shed in their editing queue, but that was nearly a month ago. Just wondering about how long it takes?? Thanks!

We've been telling each other for years that our Hubber scores are not important. We were wrong. From HubPages Weekly:"""Congrats, Your Article Is Featured! Now, Here’s How To Keep It That Way...So, your article needs to have some search traffic to stay Featured. The amount of...

I'm thinking the answer is probably yes?If you have hubs that have been deemed "not featured", for one reason or another, will that factor into lowering your overall score/rating as a HubPages member? Example--let's say your overall rating is 75. If 10 non featured hubs become...

While we Hubbers often tell each other not to worry about each other's scores, and we really shouldn't, here's a quote from an official HubPages document (regarding the Quality Assessment Process) that shows scores have at least some practical value:"Articles written by authors with very high...

A month ago I announced some updates to HubScore: raw traffic is deemphasized, reader satisfaction is emphasized, and overall, the scores are a more accurate reflection of the quality of Hubs than they used to be. Today, I'd like to talk about the subsequent update to Hubber Score — the score...

Does commenting increase or reduce hub score? Let's discuss the issue. I think it might help some writers here.

I was under the impression that we could only submit one hub every two weeks for niche sites. I submitted a hub and an editor replied with changes that I needed to make before it could be moved. As I'm making those changes, I have received two emails that another two of my hubs are...
